    Red Sox sign Walker Buehler

LOVE this! According to MLB Network Buehler received a couple of multi-year offers but he chose to bet on himself having a solid season which would raise his value in the next offseason. He will be super motivated thus upcoming season. Thanks Santa!!

So multiple non-Red Sox players hear about the deal and they immediately reach out to Carrabis? Huh?

This illustrates, I believe, the difference between Red Sox Nation generations. Those of us old enough to remember the pre-Impossible Dream Red Sox never thought we would see even one World Series championship. Did I want the Sox to make a splash in FA? Yes. Do I get frustrated in the moment...

Ok I know this is wishful thinking but maybe they have decided the most economically feasible option to improve pitching is to sign or trade for a a couple of established high leverage bullpen arms. I love Devin Williams for one. They already have a number of BP arms but adding a couple of...

It's happening again, isn't it? I fell for it again despite their recent history of talking a good game but all they do is make a "strong Fair question. I guess I would say that, the market is such that top level players are going to demand absurd contracts terms of cost and contract length...

If only Pedro's dad had given cookies to Soto's dad.

    After Soto

I could not agree more with this. Yes the Sox have offensive needs but, by far, pitching is their most glaring need. I want them to swoop in and overpay (if necessary) to land Burnes or Fried. They need to be aggressive and sign on of these SPs and trade for Crochet. Time to start reaping...

It is always important to remember that Heyman is reporting what Boras wants to put out there. Nothing that hack reports is worthy of consideration. I prefer to wait to wait until legitimate reporters check in as opposed to an unofficial PR flack for the biggest agent in the game.

I know others have posted similar viewpoints but I can't help but feel that, whatever happens with Soto, the Sox are back at the big boy table. They are ready to spend money and actually compete. To me this is a huge change.
