    I think improving his approach to the game and learning how to watch film of pitchers is important. Learning from past MVP’s who have been known as a great clubhouse influence would be beneficial IMO.

    could be, but section 10 and Lou Merloni seem to have some solid contacts inside the clubhouse so I tend to believe them. I believe they are much more credible than traditional sports talk radio.

    I completely understand why they would want young talent, but they really need to invest in some veterans who have had success in the league. Some good clubhouse guys who can take the rookies under their wings, even Cassas could benefit greatly from it. I would love for them to bring in...

    If the Yankees are really in on Santander and the Mets are in on Bregman, what is the market for Alonso? I’d much rather sign him to a 2-4 year deal than Teo to a 2-4 year deal if they will both just be DHing. Alonso in Fenway hits 50+ home runs.

    I had brought him up last month as I think he is a great fit. He has really improved his framing ability and is a solid right handed hitter. I know he has agreed to switch to 1B/DH but maybe playing for a competitive team will help sway his mind.

    I purchased NESN 360 and a ten game plan this offseason and am regretting it already. Plenty of time to make it right, but I feel like I fell for the same BS hook-line-sinker.

    I’m not positive about that, the new catcher they acquire could stay as Teel’s backup while Wong plays a super utility role. Wong’s bat is valuable and he has looked serviceable at second, first, third, and left. I’d like to see them bring in a better defensive catcher, if the Murphy rumors...

    I’m all for buying low on Sean Murphy, he would be a massive improvement and fix the teams biggest defensive liability. Any projections on what it would cost?

    IMO the biggest liability on the field is at the catching position. Wong is valuable as a utility guy with his bat but I’d like to see the defense and framing at the catcher position upgraded.

    I’m hoping for a David Robertson signing. They need one more experienced arm for the back end of the bullpen, one who has experience closing and setting up. Robertson can still strike guys out and will probably sign a one year deal. He seems like the perfect fit.

    I’d still like one more end of the bullpen addition. I’d love David Robertson on a one year deal as well, I think he would be the perfect last major piece with his K ability.
