    R4/110 Javon Baker WR UCF

Not sure the validity of this sight: Senior Bowl MPH , but yes, he seems to have the in game speed as well.

    R4/110 Javon Baker WR UCF

Totally agree. I don't think any one stat, or just film can properly be boiled down to a single monolithic indicator of NFL success. With Baker, however, it seems like you have a combination of a highly recruited HS athlete, size, positive film reviews, and statistical excellence. The only true...

    R4/110 Javon Baker WR UCF

Another reason I genuinely think the Patriots may have stolen a mid round gem in Baker. His college career contested catch rate is the 4th highest of all WR in the draft. Worth noting that Polk looks good in this department as well.

    R4/110 Javon Baker WR UCF

I know in the WR thread it was discussed how college efficiency stats aren't really predictive of anything, and they lack context, but Baker is one of the guys that has a lot of green. I think efficiency stats *can* be better served as red flags rather than a basis for judging talent...

    Mitchell,McConkey and Coleman-the BPA thread

I think this is what they try and do. I know a lot of people like AM, but his production/efficiency stats seem like giant red flags.

What do you want Pats to do with #3?

My bad, I was looking at the wrong picks. You are correct.

What do you want Pats to do with #3?

The Giants feel like a team that needs more than the Patriots. They also don't feel like a team that really has enough to offer. I don't think that package is truly enough. If you put any stock in Jimmy Johnson's weighted draft pick chart (caveat: it's over 30 years old), it isn't enough. Edit...

    Rank the WRs

You are asking the wrong guy... Also, one other quick question: Lance Zeirlein does an 8 point scale for his grades. He offers a key. I'm guessing yours is 10. Even given that, this year's WRs seem really high. How do they line up with past classes? Like, what did JSN rate last year?

This is awesome. I know this is a ridiculous ask, but I noticed you said you chart all positions. Do you have them somewhere? Like a website or something? Thank you for this.

    Three day out check-in

If the Patriots do trade down, I suspect it's because they like JJM, Penix, or Nix as much or more than who will be available at #3, and will likely target one of them. I'm not saying that's what they should do, I just think that's the most likely case.

I'll be pretty surprised if he's available as well. Have a feeling that's who Buffalo is looking at in round 1.

    Rank the WRs

Just to be clear, I don't think that YPRR is some sort of tell all stat. It isn't for the NFL either (or Bourne would be a top 30ish WR, and he isn't). It's descriptive, and not predictive IMO. Franklin could look great because of QB accuracy, and that *seems* to be the take from people that...

    Rank the WRs

PFF has a great article on this exact subject, from a statistical standpoint: https://www.pff.com/news/fantasy-football-how-the-2024-nfl-draft-wide-receiver-class-performed-by-situation I've attached the overall numbers, but they break it down vs different coverages as well, and is well worth...

    2024 Draft Binkies

I think an actual deep cut WR that I'm curious about a film break down is Jamari Thrash. His peripherals (YPRR, 1D/RR, TPRR) are pretty ridiculous for a WR that seems to be well out of the top 10 prospects (bottom top 20?) at the position. I'm sure age is the biggest factor, but he seems like...

    2024 Draft Binkies

Where do you have Troy Franklin? I know he's a bit skinny or whatever, he's the WR I'm hoping is available at #34.

    Calvin Ridley, you in?

Levis was definitely in rarified air last year. Tenn moves seem kind of strange to me. Pollard/Ridley are kind of “win now” moves, or a fairly expensive way to find out if Levis is your guy. Burks probably moves to the slot, I guess, but the Ridley signing sure seems like they have full...
