AB Watch II: Waiting for the Great Bumpkin, Charlie Brown

Bill coaches the team. Antonio practiced on the field last Friday. Then he was cut. These aren’t hard dots to connect.

2019 Pats Defense: What Are We Witnessing?

Have you paid attention to the defensive rotations this year? Aside from Gilmore and McCourty no one is really “every down” in the secondary.

2019 Pats Defense: What Are We Witnessing?

Underutilized in what sense? That literally seems like the opposite of how New England is approaching his field time.

The last thing the Jets need right now is another kicker that folds under pressure.

Kyrie Irving traded to Celtics for IT, Crowder, Zizic, BKN 1st, 2020 2nd

Yes because Zizic, IT, Crowder and a yet to be disclosed positional draft pick (who may or may not pan out) is the next dominant Cleveland team. Do any of you think about what you write or... I keep forgetting this is the new SoSH.

Kyrie Irving traded to Celtics for IT, Crowder, Zizic, BKN 1st, 2020 2nd

I'm not concerned with handles. I'm more or less concerned with a clear upgrade at a position that will improve the Celtics. Now will any of his habits magically improve over the course of the next two years because of the Stevens factor? No probably not, but Irving is the vastly superior...

Kyrie Irving traded to Celtics for IT, Crowder, Zizic, BKN 1st, 2020 2nd

This is exactly correct. Especially when one considers the return. How anyone thinks Ainge got fleeced or whatever, should take a deep and realize how much this improves the Celtics long term and short term. For a bunch of question marks.

Big changes at CSNNE and WEEI.com

Guys, why does the most (in)famous sporting network have 365 NFL coverage even after the season concludes? Why is that? Why again do they broadcast the HOF game again? I don't understand. What is hardknocks?

Big changes at CSNNE and WEEI.com

Do yourself a favor. Go back and reread what I wrote, this time account for how wildly popular the NFL is and how, again, that sportcentric channels may focus on this. I'm not understanding where the mystery is for you. It's actually pretty easy to draw the line from point a to point b in this...

Big changes at CSNNE and WEEI.com

Yeah it seems weird that our country's most popular sport, in the wake of our local team winning the whole shebang last season, regional sportcentric channels might devote an hour or so to the conclusion of a sporting contest featuring New England in their first time back on a playing field...

    Pablo Sandoval DFA

I understand that. But in the spirit of this discussion I don't believe that Lowell's acquisition and subsequent re-signing is akin to free agent signings that have flopped or succeeded for the Red Sox. In either category.

    Pablo Sandoval DFA

You're selling Lowell's tenure in Boston short here. I mean he was fairly instrumental during the 2007 Championship team's run, and was pretty damn good until the hip injury. Also, he didn't arrive as a free agent. He was an afterthought (at the time) of the Beckett trade.
