    Anthony Davis: No Loyalty

I thought Smart had to be included to make the money work. Is there any way that Tatum + "salary filler" can not include Smart? It seems to me that if you could go to Kyrie after such a trade and say "here's what 2019-2020 looks like if you re-sign: You, Brown, Hayward, Horford, Davis, with...

    Game 7 - Bruins v. Blues

If not TB12, how about Edelman (MVP of most recent Super Bowl) and Pence (MVP of most recent World Series)?

    Game 7 - Bruins v. Blues

I found the partial answer to my question on boston.com. Game 1, SCF: Bruins 2011 players Game 2, SCF: Belichick Game 5, SCF: Orr and Sanderson TB12 certainly seems the most likely candidate. Marc Bertrand tweeted the suggestion that it be TB12 wearing Ortiz' 34.

Is the consensus that we see TB12 waving the flag tonight? Who waved in Games 1 + 2? (I know BB waved in Game 5).

Practice time usage: to scrimmage or not? Whadda say?

I coach boys, U8 last fall and U9 this spring. I try to spend the first half of practice (in my case 30 minutes of an hour-long practice) doing drills and trying to teach. Then the last half is a scrimmage. But it's a controlled scrimmage and I will often stop the scrimmage ("Freeze!") and...

    Celebrating What Is

Tremendous work by the OL, especially Thuney. If Mankins has played that well, we wouldn’t call it The Scottish Game.

And if they are going to break the Flyers' record for most players scoring in one playoffs, Moore is the only one left!

2019 Stanley Cup Final - No Singing the Blues - Boston is Going Back to Backes

It won’t happen this year, but I really like the idea (I think it came up in the game thread) to have penalty minutes at the end of a game carry into the start of the next. It wouldn’t solve penalties at the end of a series-winning game, but it might help in a situation like this.

This. Exactly this. For all sports. It’s so simple. And it would be nice if replay was the same method in all the sports.

2019 Stanley Cup Final - No Singing the Blues - Boston is Going Back to Backes

To my eye, — and I wasn’t following the game thread so I’m sure they all were discussed, — there were five notable calls or non-calls: 1. The check on Johansson that was a shoulder to the head. Very similar to calls that were made against the Bruins in Games 3 & 4. NON-CALL 2. The check on...

Agreed. His issues come on open ice; in close quarters, which with his reach, covers a lot of ground, he’s still pretty good.

    2019 Patriots: Post-SB Roster Thread

The guys at BSJ are going gaga over Berrios, making plays as a wideout and looking like a potential PR. That's on top of their all-spring-long sploogefest over Henry.

I think it was Heinen who was closest to the puck on that 3rd goal. I don't think he knew how to handle that rush -- he had two guys to cover -- and ended up turned around and unable to help.

2019 Stanley Cup Final - No Singing the Blues - Boston is Going Back to Backes

Didn’t the Bruins have a player many years ago, I think during the 80s, who could and would swing from D to wing? It seems like that sort of player would have incredible value. Positional versatility! BB would approve.
