    I wonder if the reason Conte isn't already gone is if Levy is conferring with Kane. There's reports out a week or so ago that Spurs were pushing a new contract with Kane having consulting power over coaching changes.

    Yeah this is the key. It's possible, before the play-in games, that UMBC would have been a 15 (often America East is). But when you take two 16s and move them to a playoff, one 15 moves to a 16. FDU was a 16 and a bad one. This is bigger.

    yeah, he doesn't have top 5 pick talent, but luckily they have Bosa on the other side. I think there's a good chance to turn him into an Arden Key/Charles Omenihu-style contributor, which is all that DL needs.

    I'd also say that there aren't a lot of options for him. He wants out of Green Bay, Green Bay wants out of him. He wanted the niners, but that ended 2 years ago. They don't want him. At this point the Jets with a decent defense is probably his best option.

    Mosely signs with the Lions on a 1-year deal. Means Niners need either an outside CB and Lenoir moves to nickel or they need to sign a nickel CB. Maybe Womack can fit in there, but I'd rather a more veteran presence.

    Lance has better athleticism and probably better arm talent. Purdy seems to have elite level processing ability to run Shanny's system. Is it possible Sam combines those two the best? Maybe. Interestingly I think the it's actually Purdy's job to lose if he can show promise in his throwing program.
