    Chelsea 2022-23: Under New Ownership

Yeah, my statement is a bit of hyperbole. Nicholas Anelka and Diego Costa certainly had some moments for them (even though Costa was a crazy person too). But it's pretty amazing the amount of money they have spent on bust strikers in the last 20 years.

    Chelsea 2022-23: Under New Ownership

For Chelsea's opponents or for Lewandowski? Seems like Chelsea have been swinging and missing with forwards since the days of Sheva. Curse of the Drogba?

    Nick Pivetta

So do the BAbip numbers suggest he was unlucky in his first 5 games or lucky in his last 9 games, or both? Pretty impressive that he's cut down on the walks though, as that's always seemed to be an Achilles Heal for him.

    Downs up, Norwood wide right

New to this site? You could probably find quotes in the archives from 20ish years ago replacing Fitzgerald's name with Morgan Burkhart's or Izzy Alcantara's. If SoSH had been around in the 1970s, we would have been hot for Sam Bowen. It's what we do!

    Downs up, Norwood wide right

I can't believe anybody is excited to see Jeter Downs play at this point in his career. If he ends up getting significant at bats for us, that's going to mean something has gone badly wrong.

    Thank You 2021-22 Celtics

I'm a total fair weather NBA fan and I had basically stopped paying attention after the poor start (doesn't help that they're not normally on TV here). So having a long playoff run to follow was totally unexpected and a lot of fun. Looking forward to more in the future.

Shocked that Payton shot at the buzzer didn't go in. It's been that kind of week.

    NBA Finals Game 6--Resiliency

I can't believe people are worried about the officiating in tonight's game. The NBA has every reason to make sure the zebras give the Celtics as many advantages as possible.

How to get back in this thing

Sorry, don't mean to call you out specifically, and I understand that people want to pile on SJH for his early panic, but a month into our team's recovery, it's just getting kind of repetitive and boring.
