9/19 Pats at Jets: Mac and Zach attack

Introducing...[Name TBD] - NBA Box Score Projection Project

Would be interesting to include something for publicly reported medical issues (ACL tear, Achilles tear, meniscus tear, cartilage damage, impingement, arthritis, etc). But I think you're right, the information likely wouldn't be clean enough and no 2 injuries are alike. Probably would do as much...

    2021-22 NBA Off-season Thread

Wall's knee looks like Kemba's and a similar outcome would make sense. Wall isn't totally useless at the moment, but he's also of course WAY overpaid as a max superstar. He might be worth a "Kemba on the Knicks" type contract, and I'm sure the Rockets would be happy to buy him out with some...

Introducing...[Name TBD] - NBA Box Score Projection Project

Poor Hollinger's PER came in last. That alone should give the article some weight around here. When you are looking to take DARKO's future predictions to the next level by incorporating publicly available medical/injury info as an added fudge factor, you know where to find me :)

    Celtics Plan, Summer 2021

No Grant or Romeo. What a shame :) Brad the GM knows what Brad the coach wouldn't have wanted to deal with for another season.

This game is hilarious in so many ways. They're going to kick a 50 yarder on 2nd down? lol Now Carr back out there....

Pats Draft Rd.1/15: QB Michael McCorkle "Mac" Jones

His first NFL throw was one of the strangest I have ever seen. A seemingly intentional backwards spike/fumble. Nearly every play after was fantastic to watch. I tend to be "cautiously optimistic" after small sample sizes, even very good ones. But hard not to be extremely excited about his...

    9/12/21 Squish the Fish

Well Mac looked good, truthfully that’s the thing that matters most. Need to work on somehow getting a few explosive plays a game as an offense. Penalties and turnovers the story.

    9/12/21 Squish the Fish

It was thigh high, not at his shoetops. Cant believe they didn’t throw a flag on the block in the back on Phillips though didn’t matter in the end.

    9/12/21 Squish the Fish

Agreed Mac off by a foot or two, but that ball is highly catchable. Shoulda been 4th and 1 at minimum. Didn’t love back to back runs in 1st and 2nd down there.

C's pick Aaron Nesmith #14 overall

I agree. Romeo and Grant are the ones who require some serious squinting. Nesmith was up and down for sure, but I at least see some building blocks.

C's pick Aaron Nesmith #14 overall

I am 90% sure you are WC1, HRB. Western Conference Scout 1: “I guess I don’t see what everyone else does. Sure, he shot pretty good on open ones. But he HAS to do that. Otherwise, he’s not in the league. He can’t dribble. His passing instincts are terrible. His size is fine, but he’s not some...

Ended up costing them a timeout but that's it. Don't blame them for accepting but did have some risk.

    Week 1 NFL Game Thread

Sorry for belaboring but I wasn't talking only about that play. Just in general the announcers (and maybe the refs?) rely too much on single image close ups. Lots of out of bounds NBA replays with close ups showing the hand and ball overlapping on 1 view as conclusive evidence who touched it...

    Week 1 NFL Game Thread

I think at least the left one was down but you honestly can't tell sometimes from just 1 shot like that. Having no space between the foot and the grass doesn't mean the foot is actually on the ground on one view sometimes.
