I still think Bjork can be a useful player (probably 3rd line). But his coach clearly wants something different than what Bjork is currently showing.
If he plays with a little more jam on the 4th line maybe he gets a chance to stick once Pasta (and eventually Kase) return. He’s got more...
Love Frederic’s chirping. I think he should get a shot at 4th line center once Pasta and Kase return.
I wish Kase had been on the ice when the Bruins started scoring 5v5 goals. [insert Koji Soon gif].
As for Bjork, the writing on the wall is getting hard to ignore...
Bjork took first line reps today. If Smith is ready for Saturday then Bjork may play 1st line and Frederic would stay in as 4L LW.
Also Ritchie practiced on 1st PP (Coyle on 2nd).
Grzelcyck on the 1st PP. Once Pasta returns Coyle will likely bump Ritchie off of PP2.
PP1: Grzelcyk, Bergeron, Krejci, Marchand, Coyle
PP2: McAvoy, Kase, DeBrusk, Smith, Ritchie
Today’s practice lines:
Marchand – Bergeron – Studnicka
DeBrusk – Krejci – Kase
Ritchie – Coyle – Smith
Bjork – Kuraly – Wagner
Lauzon - McAvoy
Grzelcyk – Carlo
Zboril – Miller
Moore – Clifton
Frederic and Vladar to the taxi squad would get the...
Witnessing Bergeron’s growth from precocious teen to seasoned leader has been incredible. One of the best all-around players and by all accounts a fantastic human being. I hope he gets to raise the cup again with the Bruins - but either way, it is a joy to watch him on the ice.
They seem committed to giving Ritchie a shot - hope he capitalizes on the opportunity.
I’d like them to try a 4th line of Frederic/Kuraly/Bjork.
Harris (please be healthy)
Honorable Mention: Folk’s back, Cam’s midrange throws.
For some reason I could not turn away from this train wreck of a game.
I want to be optimistic about Cam but his mechanics are so inconsistent (short arming throws, not stepping through...
