The Heat is on, ECF here we come!

He's better than Semi! He's a guy with situational value, that's about it.

The Heat is on, ECF here we come!

Exactly, so many reasons could explain what he's observing. My guess would be that the minutes the C's starters have played has more to do with it than fitness. Tatum, Brown, Kemba and Marcus are all over 539. Butler leads the Heat at 434. He does point this out, but keeps going back to the...

The Game Goat Thread: Wk.2 at Seattle

We got dominated in the run game on both sides for sure. Pass protection was damn good for the NE side, and we got at least inconsistent pressure on Wilson, better than they got on us.

Yup. Re spiking the ball vs. running a play, I always thought that there's a real potential advantage to running a play while the D is struggling to get it together as well. There seems to be a much higher chance they'll blow a coverage in that situation than when they've got time to get set...

    2020 Pats: Cooking with Cam

Sure felt like Adams was all over the LOS making plays. Might have got him in coverage a few times. Run blocking was bad on the last play, but in the same formation other times it was very successful. Having to go away from the run game due to falling behind sure hurt those numbers as well...

This was my disappointment in Harry as well. His 1st Q catch that resulted in the ejection was amazing, but he had two RAC opportunities with acres of space and got ankle tackled on both. Little chance of fumbling there. Just didn't look like a guy who was going to make somebody miss. I hope...

    9/20 Pats at Seattle

Not to pick you out because I've heard a few folks say this, but how is this one on the offense? Special teams and defense didn't show up and we still almost pulled it out.

Gotta give the Seahawks offense some credit, they looked dialed. Secondary, Gilmore got burned too much for a DPOY.

When JB is involved this is a very good team.

    ECF Game 3--MARCUS

It's bad clock management, but the iso game with the shot clock winding down was so bad I don't mind it.

The Heat is on, ECF here we come!

Tatum and Hayward seem best suited for this role, both are big enough and skilled enough to pass or score out of their. Kanter and Theis would not be as likely to attract double teams and thus open up shooters.

9/17 - Celtics vs. Heat, Eastern Conferences Finals Game 2

Tatum seems like the guy you want to get the ball at the elbow against the zone, he's got enough length to get it into him easily and is a threat to drive or shoot the mid range. Hayward would be good too if he's in good form, Brown might work. Kemba and Smart are too small and get swallowed...

"We're going to Disney World!" NBA to resume season July 31 at WDW

The lede on the ESPN home page says "Only six teams have done the impossible: stop Lebron James in the playoffs". If six teams have done it, it hardly seems impossible. Great look from Jackie Mac nonetheless at how different teams have worked to be LBJ...

The Heat is on, ECF here we come!

Really still just a few 4th Q plays from this being 2-0. Frustrating to watch, especially the above, but they're still right there at the end. Unfortunately 4th Q Butler >> 4th Q. Tatum.' Brown not getting much love here but he came up big in the 4th with a couple 3's and a put back. Missed...
