    Red Sox Schedule

Until recently (since 2004 or so), I do not remember a game in Boston starting later than 7:05 except for the All Star game.

    USMNT: Hold My Beer

That Lydia Wahlke looks different in several photos. Someone really bungled that lawsuit, but was she the one that wrote that complaint ? I am way behind in figuring out how dysfunctional the national soccer teams for the U.S. have become.

    Least Favorite Red Sox Heroes

I never hated Mike Andrews as a person. (I don't know him) I just didn't like him as a baseball player when I was a kid. As a kid, it was pretty clear that he couldn't hit that well.

    Least Favorite Red Sox Heroes

My father hated George Scott because he struck out too much and didn't put the ball in play. I hate Lugo because he played so well in Tampa and not here. Some of those guys in the late 60's and early 70's were pretty bad ~ Mike Andrews comes to mind. I don't hate ball players for their...

Tottenham Hotspur 2019-20: Jose can you see?

Mourinho will keep things interesting, even if it means crash and burn.

Changes to Fenway (eliminating 450 Bleacher Seats)

I missed this. Removing bleacher seats is lame. Fenway fans become so quiet (the main noise is the incessant music and crap through the P.A. system). I will wait to see the final product before I officially trash it. They do manage to surprise me with their design. I wonder whether it will...

"Then.........One August night, the kid in right, lies sprawling in the dirt" 52 years later, it still hurts.

I remember the Sports Illustrated cover not much else. Seemed like one of the saddest baseball stories. Imagine being let go because someone picked up Denny Doyle ?

    Maradona Documentary

Well, I don't have HBO so I won't see the Hand of God one more time. Very fun player to watch.

Poor New England! So Far From Boston, So Close to the Kraft Family: The Revolution 2019

The Revs have come back to life. Bou has been a great addition. Arena deserves whatever credit he wants. If they make the playoffs, I will be happy. I went to the first home game of the year and thought they would finish last or second to last.

Red Sox are considering a regular "open house" day where 10,000-15,000 FREE tickets are put aside for children

The Sox need more day games, cheaper ticket prices and cheaper food and beer for a certain subset of games. They are losing a generation and it ain't coming back. I was lucky that I could afford bringing my kids to games. Now that they are young adults, they don't bother going due to the prices.

    Jerry Garcia Day at Fenway

Maybe the Sox will win that night.

Poor New England! So Far From Boston, So Close to the Kraft Family: The Revolution 2019

They seem to be crawling up the table. What has been the difference ? I haven't been watching the games.

Poor New England! So Far From Boston, So Close to the Kraft Family: The Revolution 2019

The Revs are just another example of why the MLS needs relegation. Just take one team from each Division.

    Women's World Cup 2019

I keep thinking that the USA is vulnerable and they keep winning. So, I guess they will win again.

Poor New England! So Far From Boston, So Close to the Kraft Family: The Revolution 2019

I didn't know Friedel was fired. They probably need about 8 new players too. The Krafts are wealthy and impossible to deal with so don't expect a new stadium any time soon. The MLS needs relegation to keep teams honest.

Poor New England! So Far From Boston, So Close to the Kraft Family: The Revolution 2019

The Revs ran a lot tonight but still look like my old Industrial League team in Hartford. Gil is small and overrated. Buchanan is interesting but needs better skills.
