Offseason Thread - Betty when you call me, you can call me Al

I suspect the Cs are considering significantly different contracts for each guy. Maybe $20/y for Brogdan and $12-13/y for the other two. I also think Brogdon and Sato could give you 20 mpg at the point, meaning they are additions to Brown and Tatum not alternatives.

Al Horford: does he stay or does he go?

Isn't the going rate for the 3rd best player on good teams $25M?

Al Horford: does he stay or does he go?

I'm in this camp and I"m not convinced this is 100% off the table. I mean, who is going to take Chris Paul off Houston's hands?

    The 2nd Season - 2019 Playoff Thread

This is a great point. Imagine if the Celtics had acquired George Hill at some point in the past couple of years. Now imagine if they had acquired Thon Maker. Many NBA execs understand the difference between competence and potential.

Dame deserves all the praise, but 12 months ago he was licking his wounds after getting swept. And in 4 games he shot 25 for 71 while averaging 4 TOs per game. The book is not closed on Westbrook.

This post should be pinned. The advantage of having the same regime in place for 20 years is that patterns become clear. As always, In Bill We Trust.

Wait, are we sure 21 year old Ingram is a bust? I don't see him play a ton, but I think he still has a ton of potential.

One of those pairings is not quite like the others. Reminds me of Tony Delk and Terrence Ross being in the 50 point club.

What a great piece by TC. I like him on tv but really hadn't read a lengthy price by him before. Good depth, nice balance. Thanks for linking.

    Celtics in 18-19

Sorry, but Hayward is a reason for optimism for me. Given how long he was sidelined, I expect him to improve. I think it will be slow, which will aggravate some, but I do think he will be much better in April than he was in December.
