Do you think the loser of Ohio State / Michigan game gets in the playoffs? Really don’t think that conference deserves 2 teams in but that’s just me.

How did bowl eligible UConn lose by 17 to Army?
The game started with a blocked punt for a TD for Army. Then UConn had a TD called back on replay, then got stuffed and only managed a FG. Then UConn had another TD called back on replay and didn’t score at all. UConn committed a million penalties, threw two INTs, and had their punt blocked for a TD.

And Army just is able to run the ball and eat clock and punish you on the ground. If you get ahead of them you’re ok but when they can freely play their style they’re a handful.

Awesome snow game in Notre Dame. The game, however, is not awesome.

BC hasn't started playing yet and they are in the 3rd quarter.

Question for @CFB_Rules

Last play of the Michigan-Illinois game @3:10 here

View: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zq-DF0_xtvI

Incomplete pass. Game over. Not a full shot on the video but Michigan DB stares down Illinois WR, I thought he said something maybe motioned. Did he risk a taunting penalty there and another play for Illinois, or was the game over when the ball touched the ground?

Michigan and Ohio St have played like they spent all week thinking about next Saturday.
I’m of the belief that players generally give 100% whenever they’re on the field, but coaches aren’t going to put their best stuff on film against a team they should beat easily, when they’re playing their biggest game of the year next week.

Looks like they’re both going to get through — tOSU more comfortably, but against a weaker opponent.

Boise State missing starting DE, N, MLB, DT & RG at a chilly (~25 degree) Wyoming, with the MW Mountain division on the line.
Taylen Green will be a Heisman finalist before his career is over.

Iowa INT return is basically the closet you can be to out of bounds and in bounds at the same time.

They said he was out. Damn, that's tough.

First play is a 35 yard pass. Ball don't lie.

Great game up at West Point today, decent crowd for a 30 degree day

I'm mostly watching the LA matchup, but it seems like Tennessee might be in some trouble

Would love to hear a firsthand account if you were there today. (Not that you said you were.)
I was there on the UConn sideline. Incredibly fun environment. My first time at West Point. Loved the pageantry.

Chilly though. Pretty cold there. UConn dominated the first quarter, first half, really, but Army opened the scoring on a punt block for a TD on UConn's first possession. UConn had two TDs called back by replay, putting the ball at the one inch line on both occasions. In neither case did UConn put it in the end zone, which cost them dearly.

Army just runs a funky offense that is hard to prepare for and is hard to defend. They only run. They had 34 points and 300+ yards of offense and ZERO passing yards. Not a single pass completion. UConn killed themselves with penalties - especially false starts due to Army shifting the DL just before the snap. There was also a hugely questionable DPI call in the second half that proved pivotal. But once Army found a way to run the ball, it was so hard for UConn to stop them.

Caleb Williams is a fucking freak. That laser with his body going the wrong way was so impressive.

Mahomes-lite

Best QB in college football. USC is not in the top 25 if they had even B+ QB play.

Man I dunno about this targeting. That really wasn't a very hard hit.

Glad they got it right.
