Stupid take and this guy knows it. Reaching real far to talk shit on a dude.
Maybe I'm off here but I don't think it's much of a reach at all? Richard Sherman has been a vocal critic of Thursday Night Football in particular and wrote a rather detailed article about it which was published on The Players Tribune - specifically calling out the issue of player safety on short weeks repeatedly calling it exploitation by the NFL, noting J.J. Watt re-injured himself on a short week on Thursday Night Football. So to see him six years later making some cash off of this thing he had previously deemed unsafe is kind of eh...It's not like he's a player who dropped a quip about not liking TNF to a reporter after a tough week - dude wrote and published an article on it blasting the league for the decision. IMO he was right then.

Do I blame him? No. The NFL is a league of short memories and Richard Sherman not taking the chance to jump to a national level now means he might not ever be able to and he can be a voice for player issues and concerns from that area - he was mad last night from the tiny bit I saw and can carry that energy. But I also don't think it's a huge reach - any other notable figure who made bones on railing against x only to work for x would get a side eye. If Bernie Sanders retired from politics to go work for United Healthcare or Kyrie started selling working for Moderna people would probably give a similar reaction.

I have Google Fiber (1 GB/sec) and the Prime broadcast was pretty choppy for me. Did anyone else have this problem? I have Youtube TV, and the Hulu bundle and generally have no streaming issues. HBO Max always has sucked for me.

I have similar internet and didn't have any issues personally.

one thing i will say denver needs to look in to their training staff because since 2017 denver has had a lot of Inj that was not as much under dr greek when he left our inj has gone through the roof

Perhaps the training staff can get injured guys back more quickly (whether that should be their goal is of course debatable), but I doubt they can prevent injuries. Maybe the strength and conditioning coaches can make a small difference at the margins, but even then I’m skeptical.

Obviously whoever makes decisions about who is on the team (so the front office, and to some extent the head coach) makes those decisions with knowledge of each player’s age and injury history. It seems to me that’s the only real chance the team has to affect its injury risk profile; once you’ve decided who’s on the team, avoiding injuries is almost entirely a matter of luck.

Some terrible clock management by the Vikings before halftime, letting 30 seconds run off the clock with the ball inside the 20 and all three timeouts.

And yeah, there's a bad game happening in London right now.

That was a really well-designed fake punt by the Vikings, where the gunner got the defender turned around and ended up wide open for an easy pass.

Eh, I thought it was a flag. Lattimore was holding Thielen's arm down to keep him from reaching up for a catch.

Anyone else super annoyed by all the random beeping noises NFL Network pipes in when they put graphics on the screen?

Lattimore with the nice ankle grab at the end. That guy is always doing something before, during, and after the play.

Jefferson is amazing.

It would have been cool if Jimmy Graham came out of nowhere and dunked it in after the second doink.
