Is there a way to watch the Finals without cable?

Without signing up for some YouTube tv or something? Is there some sort of Finals pass you can buy from ESPN or the NBA?

It's on ABC so a $20 antenna probably gets it on your TV (says the guy that just bought a $20 antenna to get it on his TV). There's no pass that I'm aware of. There are illegal streams if you are so inclined.

try sportsurge to get the ABC stream, its what I've used most of the season for Celts local broadcast

click on tomorrow's game and pick the stream you want.

I've found streameast is generally the most reliable
That's what I use too. It's usually about 60 seconds behind the cable feed (per SOSH posts in the gamethreads), but the streams are usually pretty reliable.

Get the antenna. Helps get any sports game/program you want to watch on network TV.

That's my experience as well, about 1+minute lag, so I generally stay out of the game thread until a TO or other break in the action.

Antenna and, depending on your location, some tin foil and painters tape. I still miss the days of watching the C’s on 38 and adjusting the antenna constantly.

I recommend spending 5-15 minutes to rationalize to yourself why pirating the stream is actually the only good and moral choice. If the $50/mo for Youtube TV is making you hesitate, my method will yield extremely juicy ROI.

Not being snarky--I have invested said time already, and am enjoying those sweet, sweet savings.

Just use a free trial of Fubo. You get a week. If you have two email addresses, that will get you through the Finals for $0.

If you live in the US and are not in an extremely remote area, OTA with an antenna is the way to go. There will be other games in the future where it is handy to have around.

I think they got rid of their free trial for the time being. They did this around the Olympics and March Madness too.

I went with the YouTube.tv free trial this time around.
