“Yankees Suck” doesn’t get old. It is definitely less little-brother-overcoming-big-brother at this point, but I still enjoy thinking of all the Bronx meatheads being upset tonight.

Go Sox.

The thought of these losers below crying 27 rings to themselves tonight fills me with joy.

Mad Dog will be joyous tomorrow! The best days on the old show were always YED, especially when Francessa let him just revel in the rapture.

I remember watching on You Tube or one of the videos of their broadcast of Oct.21st, 2004. Mad Dog was almost keeled over saying....."Red Sox Nation in the Bronx" And he says to Mike how was your night?? So Mike being a good sport for once said....."You mean besides that how was the play Mrs. Lincoln"

I am a long time lurker here on SOSH. I remember someone wrote a brilliant post that gave a fictional backstory to each of the idiots in this gif. It was gold. Anyone know how I would go about finding that (or even know what I am talking about).

I Cano' believe it, we brought it to them,
But I definitely Judge them as losers,
Lump of Cole in the stocking as they went to the Gallows
In the lyrical little band box that is hallowed

The way we played ball made them look Small,
Declare Victory'no we're beating all y'all
The nine from Beantown were totally Ruthless,
Get high or get Lowe, through Back Bay we will do this

Turning their Boggs into some Wettelands,
Irrigating Greenfields we gonna get them,
Now just to see since we beat them with ease:
Is it a championship, Ortiz?

My favorite present for those Yankee fan acquaintances since the “2004 American League East Division Champs” t-shirts is going fast:

Order now! Spread the joy of YED!

If anyone figures out how to do this then I'm buying that Tshirt.

Last night's game was a post-season gem. Crispy managed, key players delivering, strong pitching, exciting and memorable plays, like Stanton's-pimped single featuring Judge getting cut down at the plate.

At some point the Yankees have to become just another team. Chanting "Yankees suck" at every game makes Sox fans into the "Count Da Ringz" mouth-breathers from the Bronx we all loved to hate.

That said, I lived more than half my life under the Yankee's mashing of the Sox, and decades of their corporate domination of Baseball (with attendant unreflective media ball-washing.) '86 to '03 was a long 27 years, many of those filled the longer summers of childhood. The 17 years since have been laced with the more fleeting years of adulthood, and many amazing success for the Sox.

I will have a grin on my face all day.

Happy YED!!

Unfortunately unless there's 100 years of non-Yankee dominance, this won't ever happen. The Yankees organization and their fans always do their part as well, making sure we all remember that lucky number 27.

I'm going to miss watching Giancarlo Stanton stand at home plate, admiring his singles this winter.

But not really.

Incredible crowd, Remy first pitch.
Cole might be permanently damaged.
The Martian was 0-3 with 3 Ks
Judge thrown out at home on a play that will be re-watched forever.
If Boone gets canned that would be the clean sweep. What a satisfying win.

Agree except for the last sentence. We WANT Boone to stay.

Boone is trapped in a Twilight Zone episode where the plot is that a flawed man's one moment of (ultimately insufficient) glory is the root cause of his eternal suffering thereafter. Dude stepped on his glasses the minute the Yankees hired him.
