Yeah sucks but this one is over. Islanders winning game 7 would have been a different series but the lightning are playing dominant hockey right now and Vasilevsky is a beast.

The Habs battled a tough series against a better team in the Leafs, and that probably had something to do with seeing them a lot this year. Winnipeg actually had a solid team this year and had a winning record against the Habs but they got hot and dominated them.

A lot of people either had the Avalanche or the Knights winning the cup and the Knights pulled it out. The Habs came out and neutralized their attack and I think they're still changing goalies.

All that to say enough with the crying about the division set up. My brother is a Panthers fan and is still crying about the Lightning loss and their cap games. You can't bitch about that stuff it's out of our control, you can only handle what's given to you.

I mean, nobody is blaming Montreal or its players, and by definition the fans have no control over these matters.

And bitching about stuff that’s out of your control makes sense. If you can’t change it and you don’t impact what’s happening at all for that matter (ie, fans), then why wouldn’t you bitch about rules/structures that produce perverse outcomes? Forgive fans if they’re not gathering in a circle reciting the serenity prayer.

Haha you're right. That's literally a part of fandom and having a rooting interest and when something isn't fair then of course we have a right to complain about it. I probably got a little carried away last night, what can you do.

Crazy to think that Montreal probably wouldn’t have sniffed the playoffs if the divisions weren’t jumbled up this year. Impressive run for them but at the end of the day they’re just not that good of a team.

I am really hoping they think they are a good team and not a team that would have missed the playoffs in any other season.

Hopefully they double down on a meh at best team.

Sorry, that's not allowed here, we never engage in exaggeration or hyperbole on this forum

Kind of bummed no game 4 tonight to pull the band-aid off. Montreal is in a foreign country and Florida wasn't an original colony.

It’s probably been mentioned but the losing Finals team hasn’t never led in a series since 1960.

So it would be fair to say if the Habs don’t take a lead tonight that they would be the worst loser in the modern era. I can get on board with that.

The only team to do the thing in baseball got mentioned by name by MacLean, so someone mentioned the good thing.

Also, they’re pointing out that Toffoli was part of the last team to come back from 0-3. A lot.
