Gonzaga wasnt even really trying in the second half. It was pretty obvious to me, since I've watched most of the games, that they were in do just enough to not let USC back in it mode
Seriously. What a stupid post. Gonzaga was up 19, they were just working the clock and going through the motions in the 2nd half. That was abundantly clear. And despite that, USC didn't even win the 2nd half.

The NBA gets some criticism for style of play, but the style of play in college basketball is horrible. It seems like teams spend the first 2/3s of the shot clock dribbling and passing 22-30 feet from the hoop, and then rush up a difficult shot. It’s also too coach-centric for my taste.

This is why I want Houston to win*, they play opposite of seemingly everyone else.

* I'm certain these wins will be vacated soon - I don't trust Sampson whatsoever to run a clean program.

Yeah this is the offense they’ve run all year when up 20+ in the 2H although last nights was a more disciplined version naturally with the stakes at play. Nearly identical to the old Coach K 2H offense back when Duke used to have 20+ Pt 2H leads. :D

LOL. I get you are pissy for being called out by a Mod in a different forum for calling posts dumb but try not to bring that here. I was commenting on a post that said they were worried about how Gonzaga played in the 2nd half. Curious you didnt call that post stupid but focused on my response instead

I was literally agreeing with you and your post and I have no idea what you're talking about with regards to mods.

Hopefully we'll get 2 good games today, although it will be a surprise if the second game isn't a 20 point mismatch

NCAA actually did a really good job with the national anthem, getting student athletes from the 5 NCAA div 1 programs in Indiana who could sing, and they did a tremendous job

Imagine losing this under bet with this garbage time nonsense?

Or imagine winning the over with this garbage time nonsense? I am glad I didn't have either side.

Who's idea was this halftime concert, or whatever this crap it. It's not like there is a huge crowd you need to "entertain". Driven me over to watch the Ten Commandments

I hate Baylor and am sad Houston wasn’t prepared. Gonzaga I think destroys UCLA, bad matchup methinks.
This wasn't about preparation. Houston just got whipped by a superior team that kicked ass. Baylor and Gonzaga are the two best teams in the country. It would be a rare treat for the two best teams to meet in the finals.

A fast food honey chicken biscuit is an official food of an athletic event?

I promise I will limit my "old man watches basketball" takes but how the hell can people play in long sleeves and pants? This isn't a pickup game in early March at a park in upstate New York.

Bad enough we have to stomach Nantz’ play by play but his fourth bro in the Cap One commercials adds insult to injury.
