Is there not a dude whose sole job is to tell them when to challenge? Because he should be fired.
I’m really impressed they have stuck to their sweet spot. Teams like KC (and NE in the past) will often win games by default once they get up by a certain amount simply because the opponent will abandon what actually works for them even with plenty of time on the clock.
Brutal challenge after not throwing the flag on an actual drop.
Unless the corner can definitively say that hit the ground, on what basis are you challenging that? We didn’t get a TV replay of that until the challenge
Honestly the biggest lesson for teams from this post season has been that going for the head is worth it. 2 QBs knocked out, a TD turned into a turnover, I'm sure I missed others
Bad challenge but it was closer to an incompletion on replay than I thought live. Live I thought he only bobbled it while on his back, but on replay, that came pretty close to hitting the ground. It didn't, but it came close.
Yeah it really seems like the Browns are making their challenge decisions based on what they are seeing on the field
Also, the Chiefs were rushing to get the play off which often works out good for the defense. Maybe more with a backup QB.
One of the coaches on the sideline was the prime mover on the challenge I think.
