Yeah, no kidding. I'm not even paying attention to what they're selling. Least effective ads ever.
That sucked, but all things considered have to be pleased that they got three points these first two games.
Bruins made the Devils look like the Soviet Red Army team. Take the next plane out of there please.
Without Pastrnak in the lineup they can’t take any periods where they’re not pushing the offense. Way too many one and outs in the offensive zone. Not anywhere near enough net drive or traffic.
They are 2 games in after a 4 month layoff and a shotgun, 10-day training camp. They played pretty well in both games. Didn't generate enough offense but I'm not ready to jump off the Tobin just yet.
I hope Sweeney is ready to move DeBrusk after he puts together a couple good weeks. Totally invisible when not scoring, but still has a movable contract. Would package him for an upgrade in a heartbeat.

While streaky, he is a guy that can actually finish. They shouldn’t trade him. If they could’ve made an upgrade move for him in the offseason, they would have.
I think that was the plan that got foiled when Hall took Buffalo’s offer. Problem with trading DeBrusk is if it’s for a different position you are looking at Nick Ritchie, 2nd line LW. Or Anders Bjork.
One thing that I have noticed is that neither the Bruins or Devils made quite the number of egregious defensive mistakes that I feel like I’m seeing in other games.
Was that after he took the uncalled cross check to the face that probably loosened some teeth right out in open where the ref could see it?
Yes that was the play. I just rewatched in on the DVR. I don’t know how they didn’t call that. I thought it was a shoulder at first until I slowed it down. Ref was right there. He’s gotta see that.
Probably the same way they called a fighting for the puck hooking call on the Bruins, but a guy (Palmieri i think) has a stick yanking him backwards in his jersey right afterwards and that's just good clean hockey.
