California. Duh.
Yeah, this is reminding me why I enjoyed Leeds being gone for so long.

it's reminding me of the Viduka 4 goal game.

Jones for Henderson is an interesting swap.

and damn. Wow.

Edit: the replay really shows the quality of that finish. Nice.

California. Duh.
With all the talk about to throw-in coach, that came directly from a bad throw that gave the ball right back to Leeds.

Looked like Jones backed up from the ball on that throw. I teach my u12s to close to the ball on a throw in their own half.

JFC... what is going on with the back four?
Bielsa has committed many men to attack and your vulnerability will always be layers of runners when the Fbs are so often forward.
Usually you end up dominating the midfield and pin the other team back but Leeds have been great playing the wide triangles to get your midfield turned with enough passing options to not get trapped and turn the ball over in the areas where Liverpool play a direct ball in to Mane or Salah and the counter immediately opens

Very glad that Liverpool won’t see Leeds again for a long while.

God if these new guys can actually score then maybe NUFC will be a fun-to-watch 12th instead of the usual stultifying 16th.

The Hammers picking up right where they left off. They're probably glad fans aren't allowed in.
Tactically yes, sadly the results are worse.

This is a limited side that needs a bold manager, Moyes is not that. He started two of the slowest players in the league in Noble and Cresswell then seems shocked when we get overrun.

Wait, I just got to watch. Is this serious? Dragged a leg? He got clattered, how could anybody dispute that?
As a neutral observer, I agree it was a penalty. But also that “clattered” is waaaaay too strong a term for that. I don’t think he could have avoided it, but also did a bit of a sell job on it (I don’t fault him for that, but it wasn’t like he got wrecked). Honestly, my first impression was he dived from the way he fell, but the replay clearly showed there was no way to avoid the contact even if he exaggerated it.
