Where's the other one?

Also, why isn't this Huey Lewis or Journey?
The NFL lovvvvves having artists who have nothing to do with the home city sing the anthem or play halftime shows. This is why you get Justin Timberlake in Minneapolis, or Bruno Mars in New York.

And the clock strikes midnight on the Oilers.

You can take the Oilers out of Houston and call them whatever you want, but you can't take the Houston out of the Oilers.

Congrats to the Chefs for backing into your first trip to the Super Bowl in 50 years, it all started thanks to Bogers and that shitshow of a gift win vs the Patriots.
Relax. The Patriots lost at home to the Dolphins and scored 13 points against the Titans.

And SF wasn't going to take a QB according to many reports at the time. So they probably would have gotten Trubisky anyway.
The Niners’ alternative to trading the pick to the Bears wasn’t keeping it; it was trading the pick to someone else. Someone was taking a QB at #2. I don’t know if Trubisky was the consensus best QB prospect that year.

even gimped up our defense performed really well compared to any AFC playoff team I saw in the playoffs, although they got kinda rolled by the Dolphins and that sucked.

our offense was just that bad this year. everything went wrong

My mind keeps going back to the Texans. You couldn't purposely throw away a game any worse than they did. At least Baltimore didn't make it.

If anyone is bored, here is the story behind that video: https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/01/16/andy-reid-childhood-big-size-punt-pass-kick-video-rams.

Best part: "For this round of the competition, the kids dressed in full Rams gear. But when Reid arrived, organizers had to scramble to find him a jersey—none of the youth sizes came close to fitting. They ended up going into the Rams locker room and grabbing a jersey from Les Josephson, the Rams’ starting running back who was listed at 6' 1", 207 pounds. "

I wish I could take the over on the number of Tom Steyer ads here in NH. He’s incessant.
Has anyone else noticed an interesting thing on Comcast? When you DVR a show, Comcast a "smart resume" thing where you can fast forward the commercials, and it automatically restarts when the commercials end. However, lately, during a one hour show, there is a strange blip, where it stops midway through the commercial break, and every single time, there is a Steyer ad.

It's the Chefs year and I've already made my peace with it;

1.) That gift win vs the Patriots thanks to the worse officiating I've seen north of The Longest Yard
2.) Getting the #2 seed thanks to the Dolphins and spinach chin having the game of his life
3.) Coming back from down 0-24 thanks to the Texans being the Texans
4.) Being handed home field for the AFCCG thanks to the Ravens crapping themselves
5.) The clock striking midnight on the Titans

The script will be complete if the Packers somehow pull an upset today, they will demolish Green Bay.

They join the Blues, Raptors and Nationals as a fairy tale ride to a championship, it's actually eerie how all four of them ended up on top the way they all did in the same sports year, we'd be talking about four of the goofiest, most idiotic movies ever (if their stories were made into movies)...…………………….

The Patriots run in 2018 was similar. Titans knocked off KC so they got Mariota at home followed by Bortles. Vikings beat Brees on a miracle which eventually led to Nick Foles as their opponent in the super bowl.
