You like Buck better than Nantz? Now that he doesn’t have Peyton anymore to drool over, I think Nantz is fine. To me, Buck is awful, whether he’s doing baseball or football.
Nantz and Buck are both ok. Probably give Nantz a slight edge. Hate Romo. Only announcer I usually end up muting. No matter the game.

Buck is awful, but Nantz is more annoying. I like both Aikman and Romo and they both would fit for this one.

It's shame that we can't get a former player to learn how to do PBP. Maybe Staubach?

Nantz fucking sucks. It's not even close. He's a smug, self satisfied idiot and he makes every broadcast he's involved in worse. Romo makes up for it quite a bit, though.

I really enjoy Buck. I think he's always solid and I like his voice, too.

I’m sure Staubach is too rich from his real estate business to bother, plus he’s getting up there in years.

Somebody pointed out in one of the World Series threads that Buck always comes out with AAAAANNDDD words words words whenever somebody got a decent hit. Since, I’ve noticed he does the same for a nice run or pass. Enjoy those from now on.;)

I am aware of the ANNNND. I have no problems with it, I think Buck is an excellent announcer. If he's working a game, I am always happy. There are so many people who are much worse. Then there is Nantz, who nobody is worse than. He is so terrible.

To each his own, right? For example, I still like Collinsworth, a guy that a lot of people here seem to have given up on. I think he still does the most homework of all the analysts. And Michaels still has maybe 85-90% of his fastball, so that combo is the best to me right now. Maybe when the World Series becomes more of a distant memory, Buck wii seem less bad to me.

I don't like all this arguing, let's find some common ground and agree that Tessitore is the worst.

I'm with you on Collinsworth. He's solid and enjoyable to listen to. No complaints from me about him.

Michaels and Collinsworth are my preferred football announcing crew, though Collinsworth got knocked down a fairly large notch when he pulled the “You know, I asked Tom, look me in the eye and tell me you didn’t do anything to the footballs” while the Patriots were driving for the game winning touchdown in SB49.

Game is in 4K on directv if you have 4K set up.

It’s actually pretty cool. Not nearly the same as the jump from standard to high def but it’s significantly different.

How was that last Watson throw away any different from the Brady intentional grounding v the Ravens? He was in the pocket, and threw it not near any receiver

That explanation made absolutely no sense.

The Colts chose to enforce a penalty against themselves, rather than make the Texans re-kick?

Holding on each team, Indy elects to accept half the distance back to goal line?

He was outside of the pocket and threw it past the line of scrimmage.

On third down? He was 20 yards outside the tackle box.

Watson and Hopkins are potential problems anyway, but when Fuller is healthy, the Texans offense can really crank it up a notch.I would not be overly upset if his hammy acts up prior to the Pats game.

I can’t believe the Texans didn’t hike it closer to the 2 min mark so they could throw it Instead without worrying about an incompletion.

Exactly. So stupid on both ends. Colts for not taking a TO earlier. Houston for not throwing the ball on second down with the clock running through the 2 min warning.

They should get it with about 10 seconds after the punt.
There's a mai-noot chance.
