    That was my first home opener as well. Cold as hell that day after the snow out the day before. I think that's how my roommate and I ended up getting tickets. That lineup by the way. Wow hitting 1-9.

    Congrats to UCONN and their fans. They were the dominant team in men's college basketball for the past two seasons and they paid it off each time. Really impressive run, coaching job by Hurley and by the players keeping their eyes on the prize.

    Curious since I am a fan and because the Pats spoke to him how you'd grade McCarthy on this scale. My rough go was 1 B/C, 2 B/C, 3C (sometimes too much but not Milton level), 4 B/C, 5C, 6C. Thoughts other than that I'm wishcasting :)

    How do we feel about Matthew Slater announcing his retirement?

    I'm happy that he goes out with his health seemingly intact. Sad for me and I feel a bit older and bluer today because I won't get to see him suit up again.
