As I speculated on the pod with @DannyLeroux today, it appears based on reporting by @ramonashelburne that the delay in Ben Simmons passing health & safety protocols is due to not being vaccinated.
If he could in fact block a decent percentage of long field goal attempts, he absolutely would be worth the roster spot. However, if he only gets his hand on a fraction more of kicks, then no, he wouldn't be worth the spot
I enjoy watching him play. I mean, sure, if he never existed we would never know the difference, but that is true of nearly every single player.
I was first in line for the vaccine and think anti-vaxers are the worst. So this is not a political take. I just really enjoy watching him play
Oh, I agree. It just seems kind of ridiculous to complian that he only shoots/makes wide open threes. That is what rotational players do if they want to stay in the league. If he all of a sudden increased his volume and difficulty while maintaining that percentage, he would be a damn fine...
Sure it would have. People take their cues from the media they consume, the friends they hang with, and the celebrities they follow on social media. I mean, it wouldn't have convinced everyone, but I have no doubt that it would have convinced at least some people.
Guest, I have a big favor to ask you. We've been working very hard to establish ourselves on social media. If you like/follow our pages it would be a HUGE help to us.
