    You are welcome. I love the history of the stadium. The main seating bowl was opened in 1926 and the first recorded soccer match was played at the location in 1893.

    The Turf/grass issue has been talked about since the Timbers joined MLS in 2011. Real grass COULD happen, but it would be expensive to maintain. The field sits so far below grade they'd have to have grow lights running all winter to keep it alive. That and the water table could be an issue...
