Any idea why the Celtics are below the Heat right now in the standings? Miami, Boston and Toronto are all at 17-17 and the tiebreaker is head to head amongst the 3 teams. Looks like Celtics have the best record (2-0 vs Tor, 1-0 v Miami). I’m stumped.

This is true and something I’ve noticed I do, primarily because of the perspective many posters here provide. That said, the numbers show the Celtics get screwed in this regard more than most teams.

One blown call does not offset a season's worth of shitty ones against us (no, not every game, but enough that it seems to be a trend). Especially tonight, this seems like the wrong stance to take.

It was Tim MacMahon who made this claim, and for the headline to say Tatum ‘may not mind’ is very misleading as Tatum didn’t say anything at all. MacMahon didn’t even say “sources” told him. He says “It’s gossip, but the gossip is Jayson Tatum wouldn’t mind if he’s shipped to New Orleans.” Okay...
