    Let's Lay Off That Throttle

Personally, I'll be glad when the logjam on deals finally breaks and we can talk about real things rather than the subjective interpretations of reporter gossip.

    What is next for BB?

I think Atlanta has a lot of positives--young talent, owner to provide unlimited resources and not known to be meddlesome, large fan base that is starved for a winner. Admittedly they don't have the QB, which is the most significant piece, but Harbaugh may see that as a problem that can be...

    red sox preview/predictions

j-man, you are more optimistic than many here about the Red Sox. The existing weaknesses in pitching and defense will, I think, keep them from reaching the level of 85 or more wins. Last place seems more likely than not. But your lips to Gods ears.....

    Let's Lay Off That Throttle

It is probably wildly irrational and in the moment, but I really dislike Sam Kennedy. If this oily character gets his walking papers this season, it will be at least one good outcome. Of course, someone just as odious will no doubt replace him.

When Is It Okay To Worry About Triston Casas: An Attempt at the Reverse Jinx

    The next OC?

Josh seemed to be really shellshocked at the end of his disastrous Raiders tenure. It would not surprise me if he stays out of the game for a while.

When Is It Okay To Worry About Triston Casas: An Attempt at the Reverse Jinx

Hmm, not sure if this is a good thing. I like that he has confidence in himself, but if things don't go well he's opened himself up to a lot of criticism.

    Wild Card Weekend

To me, there's something special about outdoor winter football. Perhaps it is now a dated concept in the era of football as entertainment, but many memorable moments have occurred in environments such as Lambeau or Arrowhead. I've always though that the Vikings lost a lot of their regional...

That may be true, but weather wise it would be--which is all I was referring to.

    Wild Card Weekend

I think Jacksonville would have been a better choice. Very warm here in SE coastal GA today, and Jville is just a stone's throw away.

Yes, it was not serious. There would be many other problems with that as well.

Come on People Now, Smile on Your Brother

Is there any correlation between good PR and winning teams? If not, it is completely irrelevant.
