Sorry, went away shortly after I posted, I've tried the antennas and I don't know if I'm too far from broadcast towers or my TV is too far from the windows but I've never had much luck

I think the difference is that outside of the Yankees, NY Sports now is similar to what Boston Sports was when most of us were growing up in the 80's and 90's (and what I fear it will be for the next decade). Everyone was miserable or disappointed and there was no need to generate controversy...

Like PSF, I'm looking to jump from YTTV due to that price hike when the only reason I have it is really for the local channels. I haven't found a good antenna that is worth the money to get them without streaming... so what are all you cool cats and kitten's using these days?
