    I'm a Sox fan and always will be. That being said, the team as currently constructed is not interesting enough for me to spend money to travel to see them in person. This will be the first year in over a decade that I will not excitedly sit in a virtual waiting room in January for tickets...

    Too soon..heart is broken yet again. It's a business.As much as we want to believe the players/owners are loyal to their fan base..they are not. I will always root for the Sox but will not be spending my $ to travel to see them anytime soon.

    FWIW. I was able to get cubs/sox tickets today for the Father's Day weekend series at Wrigley. The markup for the "diamond " level series is usurious. But it's on my bucket list...

    Thank you Brock for being our only allstar in an awful season..for being a super utility man, for spreading love to all of the kids in the hospital, for hitting fir the cycle against the EE and for sharing your amazing family with us. This hurts...you will be missed greatly

    Alex Verdugo - on-field discussion thread

    FWIW...I was talking to a relative of a front office ee of the BJ's. He said Toronto was very high on verdugo and in previous discussions with the Dodgers was told he was off the table. Thinks we will not be disappointed in his on the field play.

    I too have been devoted since '75. I am incredibly sad about losing Mookie but I refuse to second guess an ownership group that has made my impossible dream come true not once, but 4 times. We have been incredibly blessed.
