    From the beginning of the season the hitting emphasis seems to have been to aggressively work the count and see as many pitches as possible. Which is good. But maybe opposing teams have adjusted, are more focused on throwing strikes earlier in the count, and the Yankees are falling behind more...

    Good job by Gonzalez to close that out, especially the great fielding play by him to end it. I also liked how his pitching looked. Lots of down and away in the zone and when he missed location it wasn't anything dangerous that could be driven.
