2020 Pats: Is Cam Destined to Fail?

Well, the quotes around "racist" suggest otherwise.

2020 Pats: Is Cam Destined to Fail?

Overzealous fans will be talking about football and the racists will be complaining about the kneeling. If they're winning, they will not be as vocal. If they're not, they will. I honestly do not understand either of your reactions to my post. It's really not that wild of a take. Both of you...

2020 Pats: Is Cam Destined to Fail?

I never said it did. That's quite the leap there. I said it's be good for the region to have someone front and center who would kneel. If he's successful on the football field, he will be embraced, and that's good for the message. If he doesn't perform well on the field, it will expose more...

2020 Pats: Is Cam Destined to Fail?

As a NH resident and Facebook comment reader, there's absolutely nothing I'd love more than to see the Patriots quarterback kneeling before every game. If he's successful, it's a huge win for normalizing BLM. If not, he'll make it easier to pick out the racists.

Red Sox release statement about multiple incidents of racism at Fenway Park

Judging from Hunter's comments, it's pretty much those 7 that get reported and the other 93 get ignored. That's not good.

    RIP Roy Halladay

I can echo all those players at least. Halladay was my biggest fear for much of my peak baseball watching era. Pure respect for his game. Beyond the numbers, he was an absolute competitor who would have had a statue if he pitched for Boston.

    (When) Will the Season Start?

Are they trying to sneak in some concepts under the guise of Corona? What would shorter games do to stop a virus?

Poll: The Sting 2020- Brady and Gronk

Wasn't happy with the departure, but it's a pretty awesome story if Brady and Gronk put one more together. As a human who enjoys sports, I kinda wanna see it.

    RIP Roy Halladay

If not intentional suicide, it sure sounds like accidentally intentional suicide at least. Based on witness descriptions of his flight and the comments about how he was only able to get that thrill from doing that dip move. It was only a matter of time.

    Ye Olde Eephus Pitch

I've always wondered about this. Is it just plain lobbed in and you're banking on the player just being fooled or not used to something so slow, or is there still some trickery in the trajectory?

Any longer and you'd have to call a doctor!

Credit where credit is due: who is responsible for the Red Sox success this century?

I'm glad to see others mentioned as well, but we're talking about almost 20 years of sustained success. The Sox went from lovable losers to expected winners. And yeah, obviously that original base gets things started and a ton of people contributed. But ultimately, we have had a great run...

    Red Sox Greatest Out/Putout

That's right! That had to have been one of the greatest division series of all time. It was the first playoff series for me where I actually knew what I was watching, so I don't have much of a frame of reference.

    Red Sox Greatest Out/Putout

I know, but all the good ones were taken! It was DLowe's pitch that reminded me, too. The importance of that pitch can't be understated. That era is remembered for Sox/Yankees, but I remember really, really being into beating the A's at the time. Was that the same series with the interference...
