Red Sox have uploaded a FOUR HOUR LOOP of Ortiz’s 2013 grandslam

Any longer and you'd have to call a doctor!

Credit where credit is due: who is responsible for the Red Sox success this century?

I'm glad to see others mentioned as well, but we're talking about almost 20 years of sustained success. The Sox went from lovable losers to expected winners. And yeah, obviously that original base gets things started and a ton of people contributed. But ultimately, we have had a great run...

    Red Sox Greatest Out/Putout

That's right! That had to have been one of the greatest division series of all time. It was the first playoff series for me where I actually knew what I was watching, so I don't have much of a frame of reference.

    Red Sox Greatest Out/Putout

I know, but all the good ones were taken! It was DLowe's pitch that reminded me, too. The importance of that pitch can't be understated. That era is remembered for Sox/Yankees, but I remember really, really being into beating the A's at the time. Was that the same series with the interference...

Here's the opposite: View: https://youtu.be/NeQe4sfUdO4 I'm still mad about it.

    Gone Brady Gone

I hadn't seen the poll. It's 100% on Brady the day he declared he was going to wait for free agency. Just like Mookie was gone the day he wanted 400. (I support Mookie and the Sox on that one, btw. It's a totally different scenario). There was no chance a team wouldn't overpay for him and that...

    Gone Brady Gone

I agree, I was here too. But we were the only ones reading in deep enough to see it. The rest of the country was just ready to believe it. And honestly, it's in part because a lot of NE knows it was so out if character that it was worth digging in.

    Gone Brady Gone

I feel like I explained it fairly well. I never said it was rational, either. He's not a regular player. The majority of his fans won't think rationally about it either. And the fans stuck with him through deflategate. Like I said man, I fully admit this is gut punch reactionary, but I'm not...

And then he didn't finish the job. I'm fine with my take. Maybe in a few years when he's retired, I'll forget all about it. But right now, he's the bad guy. And he chose it.

    Gone Brady Gone

He was going to hit a cliff eventually anyway, though. That's just father time. How well is going to fare with a whole new group of people he hasn't played with? I mean, the best I can see out if all of this is he's going down that cliff with a different team. But I'd honestly rather lose 2 more...

    Gone Brady Gone

I am out if my mind as well, absolutely. This is a guiy punch. But tha'ts not what my take is. Part of what I loved about him was that he was willing to put salary aside for the game. And again, totally my fault for believing that. I actually feel a bit silly. But this shatters that illusion.

    Gone Brady Gone

Yes. Why is it ok to play for less money his whole career but now it's all about that might dollar? I mean, my fault for actually believing he was above such things, don't get me wrong. But this really tarnishes his story for me.

Wow. Fuck Tom Brady. A few extra million was all it took? Here's hoping that cliff hits you right in the face.

Romo staying at CBS for $100-plus million

If that's what it takes to keep Romo from being poisoned by ESPN, I'm all for it.
