    Looks like Cora is prioritizing defense with this lineup. He's leaving Yoshida and McGuire on the bench against a RHP. Apparently not comfortable with Hamilton or Valdez at 3B as well.

    I'm assuming O'Neill coming off 7 day is where you see Heineman leave the 26 man. Anything beyond that would need to be addressed with a 40 man move

    The weather in Cleveland looks like shit for tonight's game. Maybe they'll wait to see if it's postponed to buy themselves another 24 hours to decide their move. In addition, Worcester is in Toledo this week, so only two hour drive if they do call up someone.

    New regime, new draft strategy is my guess. It should be very interesting to see, and we are a couple months away from it. If I had to guess, there will be much more focus on pitching and maybe 5 tool OF and less on MI types, which the system has a lot of right now

    Yep he'll strike out a bunch. But those potential BB's means he'd make opposing pitcher throw a lot of pitches in theory. With Casas down, isn't this exactly why you have a guy like him at AAA? If he isn't called up in a situation like this, at least to see what he may look like against ML...

    Niko Kavadas has a .415 OBP and .912 OPS over 267 games and 1109 PA in 4 minor league seasons. It seems worth it to see what he'd look like over the next week while facing 5 RHP in the next 6 games. Bobby D could pinch hit against LHP later in game and play an acceptable 1B. There is no way Dalbec or Reyes should be starting at 1B for those games, possibly Refsnyder since he has been hot, (but not a true 1B and traditionally not good against RHP) and...
