Don’t care for them, honestly not that impressed with their squad- not built for the playoffs. Fuck ‘em, keep it rolling.

In the simulacrum
Any guesses on lines with Bertuzzi in the mix now?

Edit:
I just read the below from Jimmy Murphy but I learned my lesson earlier in the season thinking these are anything more than speculation:

Boston Bruins Lineup:
Forwards

Brad Marchand-Patrice Bergeron-Jake DeBrusk
Pavel Zacha-David Krejci-David Pastrnak
Tyler Bertuzzi-Charlie Coyle-Trent Frederic
Jakub Lauko-Tomas Nosek-Garnet Hathaway

Defense:
Hampus Lindholm-Charlie McAvoy
Dmitry Orlov-Brandon Carlo
Matt Grzelcyk/Derek Forbort-Connor Clifton
Goalies:
Linus Ullmark
Jeremy Swayman

Did I hear that right?

Rangers are playing two short today? Do they not have the cap space to call up even one person?
They intentionally left themselves short to save the roster spot for Kane. I guess there is some rule about that where it disallows you emergency call-ups.

that seems, sub-optimal.

So, if someone gets hurt - but it’s not LTIR worthy, they’re going to be short that guy until he comes back? They can’t afford any more call ups this season?

I don't think it last forever. I think there is a time limit to it.

The NHL has decided that, if Motte is out, the Boston game will count as the Rangers’ first emergency contest.

That would prevent the Rangers from calling anybody up on an emergency basis until the matchup with the Canadiens in Montreal on Thursday.

Despite the fact that the Rangers had to play shorthanded Wednesday against the Flyers and Thursday against the Senators, the NHL denied the club’s emergency recall after finding that they had created their predicament.

Before the Rangers traded for Patrick Kane on Tuesday, they were technically in a roster emergency.

Since they had enough salary cap space to make a regular recall at the time, and instead addressed the emergency by adding Kane, the league felt the Rangers voluntarily put themselves in the man-short situation.

I hate the term “home run pass” for long passes to a streaking forward.

A home run is a guaranteed score. These are closer to Hail Marys, without the last minute nature.

Also, stop trying to use sport’s analogies for other sports.
