Didn’t there used to be a rule where a team could carry a third, emergency QB who didn’t count against the active roster limit? I assume they scrapped that?
Still exists, but the Niners were already down to their third stringer with Purdy. They picked Johnson as an emergency backup. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jimmy G was the designated third QB today.

How much does the guy who points out the other team’s head coach for the handshake make?

Asking for a friend. Kevin Bacon actually.

Not really. The Eagles player had a hold of, I think, Deebo's facemask for like 3 minutes. Two refs were trying to pull him off, and he wouldn't let go. So Trent said "fuck it, I'll get him off" and he well, he did.

Then another Niner player came in throwing punches, which is the auto ejection.
Yeah the refs were blowing their whistles and he never met go. I was thinking they needed to throw a flag. Once they didn’t Williams took care of it.

Yeah I’m not blaming them, but I might’ve thought they’d have some guy in uniform just in case.

Congrats to the Eagles fans here.

I hope KC wins later. I like Andy Reid and would enjoy watching him coach against his old team in the Super Bowl.

Things change fast in the NFL if you don't have Patrick Mahomes as your QB.
Not predicting a dynasty or anything but this is a very well-run team with some real draft capital to keep it going. Have to pay Hurts soon though.

Fuck these people. They deserve no joy. 95 percent of them are subhuman trash. My best friend is an Eagles fan. He’s one of the 5 percent. Fuck them all tho.
Give 'em a break. They live in truly the shittiest city in the US (well, many of them do, anyway).

Is that job organizing a dance in a small religious town that banned dancing. Because I agree, that’s dangerous.
I used to live about 45 minutes from the town that was about. I agree; it would not take a lot to get in a lot of trouble there.

I have a wedding that I cannot miss. So my “missing the Suoer Bowl factor” came down by like a million.
Is the actual wedding on Super Bowl Sunday with a reception during the game?! That’s like against the law or something isn’t it?

Edit -Now that I think about it, I seem to remember you’re not in the US which makes it more understandable.

Doing that in the US would be crazy.

For my own personal enjoyment, the best result would be a crushing KC defeat, leading to some enjoyable browsing on Chiefs Planet tomorrow morning.

Look, are some people going to say T-Mobile overpaid a little to get DeNiro to play Niels Bohr in its Super Bowl ad? Sure, a little. But did they have a choice?

It’s kind of like what the Sox did with Devers after the Padres got Xander.
