Man he has outlived the bullshit title like 5 years ago, maybe they should stop treating him like a dirty instigator he was 10 years ago and treat him like the superstar he is now
Yup. He deals with this shit every game and he’s missed games due to injury on a blatant penalty that wasn’t called, so I’m pretty much OK with however he wants to respond during the regular season.

Especially if it includes a rage-fueled goal and assist.

Did McAvoy just get his legs chopped out from under him or did something else happen there? Nope... kings player fell into his legs and low bridged him accidentally... ouch...

Ugh right? And its not like he became a 45 point second line winger from his grinding days. He's a legit top 5 forward in the league but because he licked someone 5 years ago he gets treated like shit

I mean Brick's right. Sway's off again tonight. BUT he had no shot on either goal. He's fighting the puck bad but still making the saves

Gotta admit I just assumed he'd be a 4th liner or healthy scratch this year. He's been making me look like an idiot all year

I never knew katnado was Bruce Cassidy's SoSH username.

So it's not a penalty to rush to the goal crease and then run into the goalie even as you try to get out of the way?

First he got a skate blade full force on his right heel... then a guy's full body weight onto his left ankle.

Marchy having a friendly chat with the ref. Looks more like an apology perhaps from Brad

Kinda sloppy game, 43% expected goals 5v5 (fourteen high-danger chances allowed is alarming). I guess that's to be expected with the jetlag and the lineup getting jumbled with DeBrusk out. But it all doesn't matter because this team can just out-PDO everyone.

Assuming the 7th man goes to the "player most unexpectedly good this year", I could make an argument for both Frederic and Cliffton. They are both contributing well above expected and the advantage that brings to their lines is huge.

I think you have to add Uncle Nick to that list too.

Trent Frederic is on pace to be a 20 goal scorer this season.

Let that sink in.
He's turned into what a lot of us hoped he would when he first got called up last year. The improvement from him, DeBrusk and Clifton has been amazing to watch.
