Celtics haven't been great, and DEN is playing well, but not much you can really take from a game when you shoot 26% from 3 and your opponent shoots 63%, that's just not gonna be survivable in the NBA
Yeah. And to my eye the Celtics aren't getting worse looks. It's just variance.

The guy on the ladder with the level is named “Paulo,” for all you who needed this information.

This is the worst in-game entertainment ever.

So nobody had a plan for this ever happening? Huh.

I miss Tommy. He would have a dozen good stories to tell in this weird dead time.

Scal’s definitely not too great at improv or going along with jokes….

Denver TV team just got texted from a Mavs radio announcer saying they had a game delayed 45 minutes last year when they brought in a whole new hoop after a player noticed it wasn’t level.

Totally a first and I’ve been watching since the Bird-McHale-Parrish days.

I’ve seen rim adjusted mid game once or twice—but never taken this long.

bird once said during warmups the run was slightly off, they measured, it was….but as I recall it was pregame

They need a new level. That thing is way out of calibration.

…and what if it turns out that it’s not the attachment area that’s out of alignment but that the rim itself is now bent?

I don’t get the sense the guys working on this have much clue what they should be doing. Camera keeps showing the level and it’s in the same spot every time… cut to them half-heartedly pulling on the other side of the rim.

Denver TV crews—multiple now—want stop bringing up PTL hanging on the rim. And that that should have been a tech.

agreed. This is not in the playbook and they are just guessing, imo.

They just finally got it to move.
