I too thought I would be alone with my Wolves pick.

Trying to get by with a crap team feels like trying to sneak a 7th inning with a really bad reliever.

Forest is set up nicely for a classic "kill half the pool (including me) by scoring with your only shot all game" scenario here...

Silly me (and many others) for assuming Brighton would actually convert one of their many many chances.

And down go two after Liverpool lose to Forest!

Someone is also guaranteed to go unless Chelsea/Man United is a draw.

Then, on Monday, a real apocalypse if West Ham lose.

For the second time I pick a game that is not the biggest mismatch and am surprised that it’s the majors pick

I'm so torn if I was to take the L Monday or not. Would totally change the landscape.

I think you’re seeing some people move to less attractive matches because the ones still alive have largely used their allotments of the best teams.

Sunday Bloody Sunday yesterday. Yeesh. Can't wait to see the updated table. No one is safe, least of all me for picking Liverpool @Forest. Didn't know the long history behind that one. Eerie stuff.

I still have not used the Big Six twice each, but I've tried to get away with the mid table sides 1) because I figure the way to survive is when a City or Chelsea loss wipes out half the competiton, 2) I generally don't like picking the away side, and 3) it's fun.

I also try to avoid picking against Everton. I haven't yet brought myself to pick them to win.

I'm with OCST - I have yet to use the traditional "Big 6" but 2 of a possible 12 to date. Hasn't kept me unblemished, though - thanks Leeds.

And i refuse to acknowledge Newcastle as part of the Big 6 despite current table position, their form is inexplicable, and I'm choosing to view using them as a pick twice before the bloom falls from the rose as a stroke of genius:)

I've used most but not all of my Big 6 picks, I stopped being super precious about those after taking my first loss on the currently incorrect theory of "Forest look lively and Bournemouth are the absolute pits", figure I'll stay in the game first, then worry later.

Nice to have a Manchester City in the pocket for when I really think I'll need it.

It pains me to say this as a LFC fan, but I couldn't agree more....my team used to be the same lock, not so much currently...

Things to keep an eye on today.

If Leeds lose, then looks like nobody in the pool is perfect anymore and a few folks get knocked out. Interesting pick to me considering what a Jeckyl & Hyde team they are.

If Manchester City lose, a bunch of folks get eliminated as well (myself included).

Wild matches today with both Leeds and City on the edge at half. But all 10 survive.

15 weeks in - what do you guys think of the new double-elimination format?
I like it better than single elimination. If you wanted somewhere in the two, a friend of mine runs one where everyone starts with 6 points and you lose 3 points for a loss and 1 point for a tie.

I think Corey needs to stop copying my picks :D

As someone that was out week one last year double or something in between (like the points above makes sense for fun).

This is awesome, and something I'd want to try. With only losses mattering, it simplifies the game a little too much, and I like simple games. Maybe try it for the back half of the season?

Moral of the story, LFC fans should never pick ManU to win...ever
Several weeks ago, after picking Liverpool and advancing, my daughter was furious to hear it. She said: "YOUR HONOR HAS A DENT IN IT."

She is 12.

How does it work when a team has a double gameweek? If we pick them, do they need to avoid losing both their games? Or do we designate which game we are picking them for?
