That injury report is 5/9 of what we thought the rotation would be a couple months ago, yet I'm strangely confident in the team we'll roll out there tonight.

This is the benefit of the good start and the confidence of a Finals team not feeling like they have to push it.

They don't look locked in at all. I think the Denver game took a lot out of them. Energy will have to come from the bench.

The Smart pass to Granite for a layup was fantastic. My feed is delayed.

The other thing: Hayes is 2-3 shooting threes. I don't know why Hauser and Griffin sagged so far off him. Griffin even went into a crouch, more or less conceding the three pointer to prepare for a non-existent drive.

Same, but you expressed it better.

I flipped the game on before reading the thread and was like, “Gee, that’s a curious starting lineup. I guess Brown is out?”

Pritch is small, and people rag on his defense because of that. But: he really does a good job of bodying bigs to make sure they don't get too close to the basket, where they can easily hurt him.

They just play smarter on offense. Some of that is just the players learning from failure, but you have to give some credit to the coaching.

I do wonder how much playing 5 out is helping the offense. Horford at the 5 with Grant/Tatum playing the 4 is a pretty good 5 out offense. I wonder how much getting Timelord back is going to hurt their offense.

I think I might play Vonleh over Griffin right now. The guy just can't jump or box out, it seems.
