Are they really bringing Herbie and Fowler to a game with a 22 point spread? Better served to bring them to the Bourbon Whiskey Border Battle

12:00 PM #2 Ohio State (-15.5) at #13 Penn State, FOX. That line seems a bit low considering what Michigan did to PSU. I know this one is in Happy Valley, but either FEI is whack (OSU is 1 overall) or there's far too much money coming in on PSU. I'll take OSU with that line.

12:00 PM #7 TCU (-7.5) at West Virginia, ESPN. Watching less traditional teams like TCU, Cincy, and Louisville try to run the table is definitely one of my favorite parts of college football. This one looks real wobbly for TCU, Morgantown is tough.

3:30 PM Florida vs. #1 Georgia (-22.5) in Jacksonville, CBS. This should be a gratifying womping for Jawgia but Florida is not a bad team at all. More of a measuring stick for UGA as this is Florida's biggest game of the season, and there's some risk that UGA is looking ahead to Sandra Bullock U.

3:30 PM #9 Oklahoma State at #22 Kansas State (-1.5), FOX. This one should be fun. I like KSU for the betting--that D at home is legit.

3:30 PM #17 Illinois (-8) at Nebraska, ABC. I like Nebraska against the line, but they're gonna lose this game. Illinois should get more respekt.

3:30 PM #10 Wake Forest (-4) at Louisville, ACCN. Some upset potential here.

7:00 PM #19 Kentucky at #3 Tennessee (-12.5), ESPN. Good stiff test for Tenn. They should win at home, but if they're looking ahead to UGA they could get into trouble here.

7:30 PM Michigan State at #4 Michigan (-22), ABC. MSU has been on a terrific run against Michigan since 2008, going 10-4 over that stretch. They lost the 6 previous encounters before that. Here's to hoping that Michigan starts a new streak against a much worse iteration of the Spartans than last year's team. Losing Kenneth Walker will do that to a program. But this game has defied all expectations and prognostications recently.

I think Penn State would have probably benefited from this being a white out night game where the crowd is lit and the players are fired up. Maybe this slow start could have been avoided.

I'm not really sure there's any combination of location, time, and fans' shirt colors that would allow Penn State to be competitive with Ohio State.

Vince was one legitimately good guy. Got a chance to meet him a couple times. Gad he got to see his Dawgs finally win the big one again before he passed on.

Watching the slap fight of the week between BC and UConn, wow these teams are awful. UConn should be up about 3TD's so far, but just can't execute on offense.

So you can be up 9 on next score
So OSU knew it was going to get a turnover that led to a TD on PSU's next drive? Seems more likely that PSU would go downfield and be in position to kick a winning FG (or at least one to put them ahead).
