Belo Horizonte - Brazil
It's the game we envisioned when looking at who was playing receiver for both teams, I guess. Still think the Bucs have the bigger potential for improvement when they get their guys back, but then again I have zero faith in them remaining healthy, so who knows. Mike Evans' suspension was likely the difference between a win and a loss here.

Doug Pederson moves into a tie with Urban Meyer, Mike Malarkey, and Mel Tucker for 5th place all-time on the Jaguars’ career coaching list.
I had to look this up because I couldn’t believe it. Unreal

Here
That looked horribly painful to Sameul’s legs/foot. Someone was holding his leg put while others shoved him around this way and that.

ball breaking the goal plane but not touching goal line grass is a touchback evidently

Imagine having to force laughter at your co-worker Jason Garrett's stupid quips every week.
I really don’t understand how it’s so hard to put together a functional studio show. These spots are like 5 minutes long. The jobs pay very well. They scour the football globe and come back with… Tony Dungy and Jason Garrett.

Worth reminding us on this lousy day for the Pats that Jimmy G isn't a very good QB

Jimmy G (as a seasoned vet) is making worse decisions than Mac Jones did today. Wow.
He got saved from a pick-six by stepping out of the back of the end zone for a safety.

Ever see Giannis take 5 steps with no call?
The idea that the NFL is some bastion of even-handed reffing and the NBA lets everything go is laughable. You want to review every instance of uncalled holding in the NFL today? Anyway, the point is that the NFL should have a play clock buzzer just like the 24-second buzzer in the NBA.

Did the rules on post safety kicks change? Feels like field position used to be better after safeties for receiving team but now it seems like safety is often a good field position tool given how deep the free kick goes. Really helped the Niners. Arguably helped Dolphins today.

The extra half-second to snap the ball is granted across the board. I don’t think more delay of game calls would improve the product; the point of the play clock is to keep the game moving.

Offensive holding is a lot more subjective, but there’s still a lot more consistency in when it’s called and when it’s not then there is with, say, traveling in the NBA.

Umm, the idea that the NFL is some bastion of even-handed reffing is the polar opposite of what I said.

Wilson has been inaccurate and demonstrated very little touch

Both QBs look really bad
