If the Magic are actually still debating their pick at this point...yikes. I can't imagine that's the case.
No team has ever treated the consensus #1 pick the way Orlando has treated Jabari while ultimately selecting him. It would be highly unusual for sure. That’s why I feel it’s Banchero while trying to convince OKC to move up for Jabari while giving up draft capital.

I think they're trying to get the Rockets to jump from 3 for Banchero & the Thunder are all set on Chet.

Kinda like the Fultz/Ball/Tatum draft where Ball was set.

Woj carrying water for the Magic as they try to induce a trade makes sense, as would Woj carrying water for Banchero's agent to encourage a team to trade up for him and take him #1.

I don’t get the feeling that OKC is set if Jabari is available. Personally I’d be snap picking Ivey over Chet but if Banchero goes 1 it would be pretty nuts if OKC choose Chet. He’s a guy who could free fall if Banchero does go 1.

Your irrational CHET hate is clouding you. Pretty sure CHET is #1 on the Thunder's board. Who knows, though?

The Thunder do their own scouting and evaluations. If Presti likes Chet, it will be because he thinks he's the best pick at #2. He might be wrong, but we'll see.

Hahahaha. I love your insights HRB, but Chet slipping to 7 is insanity!
I agree……I’d hate to pass on Mathurin in that spot. I don’t think the teams immediately outside OKC cares much for him. They shouldn’t anyway ;)

I would personally prefer to be as spoiled as possible.

Banchero's resting bust face is a red flag.

In some ways, wow what a ballsy pick. But then again, he also feels like the safest pick in the draft.

I think it's a pretty big mistake, but who knows? I don't hate him as much as Bagley.

I wish they had actual people who know about the draft on these broadcasts.

Thunder take Chet…Presti is one of the best in the game but I think this is a terrible pick. I wouldn’t be touching Chet this high.

Twigs are offended when they’re compared to Chets legs

I like Bilas. Marks should be up there instead of Perk. Perk is great on other stuff, but not sure he's a fit for the draft

Perk barely knows NBA players---zero chance he knows any of these guys. I'd literally rather have Bill Simmons than him

Can a 20 year old not bulk up a bit? The Thunder must be hiring a personal chef for this guy and stress hitting the weight room over the next few months/years right?

I must be watching an alternate feed. I have Stephen A & Jalen.

I like Chet, and hope he makes it big. But he is scary. But I can also see him being a star

Jabari Smith should be good in houston, if anyone ever passes him the ball

Smith would have been a star in OKC if they went there, with Giddy finding him 8 times a game

He’s been working out with P3 all off-season for draft prep. He still looks like hes never touched a weight in his life

Compare him to John Butler, who weighed in at 175-180. There’s no way that Holmgren’s 195. More like 165. That skeleton can’t carry another 80 pounds.
