I’m not sure who the smartest player I ever saw was, but Ray Lewis was definitely the player whose intelligence was most underestimated. When the Mannings are praising Lewis, it’s not about his absurd athleticism; it’s about him knowing what they were going to do before they knew what they were going to do.

Yeah, he and Ed Reed - Bill’s personal favorite who is not LT - were savants.

lol, you bring in Latavius Murray, who has done absolutely nothing tonight but lose yardage, to try to get the 4th and 1?

Very true. People would kill for that kind of football acumen.

Manning explaining the two options the Raiders receiver had and Lewis explaining how the defender can’t allow it to get to that point was really good.

The anecdote of Ray telling Eli he pointed out the wrong Mike was awesome. This broadcast is rough and far from a finished product, but I think as they've settled into more natural conversation it has been a lot better.

This game is boring. I like Lamar, but there's just not enough non-Lamar talent on the Ravens offense yet to make them must-watch. And while the Raiders are hanging in here I can't shake the feeling that they look worse than last year so far.

The Raiders look disorganized in every facet of the game. The Ravens not having the game sewn up already is pretty shocking.

Worst home field advantage in the league?
With all the tourists just going there to watch their own team, plus non-football people there, certainly
It’s going to be a road team advantage for a lot of teams coming, especially the northeast and north Midwest
Broncos too

Carr looks so uncomfortable and confused before ever snap just running around like a chicken and clapping and barking at air.

The strange thing is that the hockey team has some of the best fans in the league and they are rabid.

Vegas is like Phoenix though in that nobody is from there. The Cardinals are often outnumbered by visiting fans. I think Vegas will be similar although probably just a little better eventually,

The biggest collection of Raiders fans might be in LA. It will be interesting to see how many make the trip each week.

The jokes are great, but I'm really enjoying the little details that the Mannings are providing. Especially the stuff on routes tonight.

The offense is a bit off and the crowd sucks, but if the defense really has improved as much as it seems, the Raiders are going to be OK this year.

I would love to kill ESPN because they piss me off a lot but I can’t do it. This is legitimately a fun watch and the insights are good
