I was actually going to ask you if you thought that Stevenson would maybe threaten Bolden's roster spot.
Assuming all goes well by year 2 yes. Year 1 Bolden is better as a route runner and Bill paid him considerable money (almost 2m cap hit) for being a good STer which Stevenson also is. With Stevenson replacing Bolden you’d upgrade on your between the tackles running, downgrade year 1 with receiving skills, and probably go sideways with special teams ability. Bill could save about 1.5m if he cut Bolden. If they want to roll some cap over to next year given their contracts that might make some sense too.

I think with RBs there are 3 locks: Stevenson, Damien Harris, and James White. I know Bill values Bolden and with Rex gone I think he makes sense as their 4th back. I also think Stevenson is a threat to Sony’s spot.

Judge has been desperately trying to convince the New York media that is "that guy" from day one. This is LOL funny.

They miss the playoffs and he is on the hot seat.
Seems like he did convince them. Giants fans I know as well as media I have heard like him. I don’t care about Giants one way or another. My not greatly informed take is that he is fine. don’t know that Garrett is a good OC (who hired him?) or that Giants play below their talent level.

So the question is how attainable is the other $100m that is not guaranteed?

$25 million a year is great
$43 million a year is going to hurt
I guess you can only report what gets leaked to you, but the lack of detail on what he needs to do in order to get all of the money is irritating. NFL reporters will never get tired of reporting on these huge $ deals without explaining how "real" the money actually is.

Cam was supposed to have a monstrous breakout year this year, that just sucks.
Damn it, I loved the way Akers runs. I've come to expect several terrible season-ending injuries during camp. It still doesn't make it any less terrible.

Who pray tell would trade a fourth round pick for Sony? That's an absurd overpay for a running back with balky knees on the last year of his contract--and I like him more than pretty much anyone on the board!
BB would be pulling a rabbit out of a hat if he got a 6th, never mind a 5th.

At that price, why would NE thin out at RB depth, especially with Rhamondre Stevenson most likely to be red-shirted?

Not sure where to put Hard Knocks comments, but I’m wondering if we can trade JoeJuan Williams and a conditional 6th for “Charlie Fuck Around” because according to Mike McCarthy “he don’t work here.”

This man really could have been an animal if his career wasn't derailed with injuries. Better runner than traditional 3rd down backs, but a fantastic receiving threat as well.

Happy retirement.
The TD in Dallas was true, Barry Sanders level joystickiness.

To me, the quintessential Dion Lewis play was that trick play they ran on the last snap of regulation in the Falcons Super Bowl. Looked like there might be something there for a couple seconds, then it quickly disappeared with Lewis blowing out his hamstring before falling awkwardly out of bounds. Pretty good summation of the Dion Lewis experience.

Hope he comes back to Foxboro some time. That dude was so much fun to watch.

The Falcons are the first NFL team to get to 100% vaccination of all of their players.

So the Falcons got to 100% win probability; that's great news and good for them............................there's a joke there somewhere, sometimes they manage to write themselves.

Yes but in clinical trials their vaccine was only 28.3 percent effective.

I want to come back to this. I gave Judge Dread some attention because the Jets game broadcast gave him a lot of airtime. I don't like him, I don't mean as a coach, I mean as a guy. He could also be a bad coach.

We'll be sure to let him know that he's personally offended you.

I'm shocked to see Antonia Brown involved. Of course, fighting with a helmet against someone without a helmet is real tough guy stuff.

If a fight started while you had your football helmet on, would you take the time to take it off?
With that said, I totally agree that AB is a POS.

I was trying to do a little CSI type work through the photos in the tweets. It looks like they are in reverse chronological order (So the bottom right was first). Unfortunately, I kept yelling at my laptop to "enhance" and nothing happened. At first I thought the helmet was thrown at AB, but on closer inspection it looks like he ripped it off.

The fight started with both helmets on. AB ripped Jackson's off, and then threw punches. He's a complete asshole, but apparently, he knows what he's doing when it comes a practice fight.

I didn't really like the pick for them when they made it, and this is bad luck, but they probably would have been much better off drafting OL or WR there.
