The game has not disappointed. I think Italy is playing with fire being so open in the back against a counter attack with Belgium's fire power.

Italy were set to kill the game in the second half, but now it’s going to be intense.

This second half is going to be crazy. Belgium will push, push, push. Italy can't fall into a shell because they'll get burned that way. So they need to keep pressing the attack. But as Kliq pointed out, that opens the door for a swift and lethal Belgian counter attack.

I feel like against a lesser team, Italy would have like 4-5 goals right now. They're carving Belgium up but the Belgians are good enough to keep Italy at bay.

And....Italy has also been a little (a lot) lucky that Belgium has missed on several great chances.

Doku has been really impressive. I wouldn't be surprised to see him on a bigger club stage in the future.

This is a wildly entertaining game, IMO. Tons of pace, lots of chances, some great goals and saves.

If Belgium don’t dig this out, Lukaku will really rue his misses. He could have a couple this half. At least.

Trapping that deflected Lukaku shot made my skin crawl. I guess he had a good look at the spin and knew he could control it, but that seemed like an awful risk.

because he missed it. What’s that got to do with DeBruyne?
I dunno, to me it looked like there are two teams on the pitch (someone very smart mentioned that to me not too long ago) and one of them defended away the chance

Hats off to Spinazzola. He’s been immense all tournament. A sad way for him to go off.

Speaking of French teams, why is it that Paris given its domination of French society only has 1 team in the French top flight, whereas London has Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, West Ham in the EPL, plus Brentford joining?

I know the guy got hit in the face, but laying there not getting the call leaves your team a man short in the critical moments of the game. GET UP AND PLAY!
