Yeah, this is a great poll, but I think that you should include Barmore (just because I think he's a likely target given the need and that he's a 'Bama guy).

I picked Slater, but I think it would be a close call with him Surtain and Barmore (not listed).

I would be least happy with:
Parsons (non-football reasons)
Paye (I just don't see it with him).

I also picked Slater, but I'd also be thrilled with Surtain or Horn (and it's hard to have a preference between the two, but I actually lean Horn, maybe if only because of the South Carolina connection with Gilmore).

I also highly doubt that any of these three guys are available at 15.

Pitts. But he's not on the list for obvious reasons. From your list, I would prefer Waddle and either Horn or Surtain. Getting a legit stud WR would be huge, but they're going to need another corner, which will help them post-Gilmore. Can't have too many good/great corners in today's NFL.

Not Horn. He's a bad fit. CBs need to be better in run support. I'll bet he's off the Pats board.

At 15 my preference is

1) Surtain - He's a level above
2) Slater - I really like watching him. Versatile.
3) Farley - good competitor

This is kind of shocking to me. From everything I have read Horn would be a gift at 15.

Edit: here's Phil Perry on him

Talk about fits. Horn might be the best scheme fit for the Patriots secondary in this class.

If you're looking for man-to-man corners, as Belichick is, Horn your guy. He's physical at the line of scrimmage. He's aggressive at the catch point (and sometimes before, leading to penalty flags). He's cocky. He has a short memory. And he has every physical tool Belichick could ask for (33-inch arms, 4.4-second 40, 41.5-inch vertical, 133-inch broad).

I went with Parsons, he's a generational talent at LB and I could care less about the off field issues which wouldn't have even raised an eyebrow five years ago.
Sure, but here;s the thing... it isn't 5 years ago, and you can't take for granted that drafting a shitty human being won't hurt you given that now guys who are perennial shitstains usually end up suspended.

Also... I don't like having to root for shitty people, it's far worse when you knew they were a shitty person before you added them to the team

1. Slater-chance to get a stud at a position of both present and future need
2. Horn-perfect scheme fit
3. Parsons-boom or bust? I say BOOM!

I’m less high on Parsons than most re his fit in NE.

Also the idea of picking a guy at #15 who waved his dick around in his freshman teammates’ faces in a ‘hazing’ incident particularly disturbs me.

I’d rather trade back to twenty-something and pick Collins. Or go for a different position and grab Davis/Cox/Werner in the 2nd or later rounds.
