i get they want brady in prime but thats a terrible late game.
FL old fogies will be asleep by kickoff (kidding)

Seattle should have been late game give the time zone, IMHO
Maybe the Goff injury made the decision for them

If they put Brady on the Saturday night game, I'd probably have stayed up to watch. Sunday night? no way

Why? With Mahomes sitting home on a bye, Brady is the biggest star playing this weekend. I'm sure NBC fought like hell to get that game on Saturday night prime time.

My point was that...Brady is the star, but its going to be a 3 TD margin at the half and I suspect many will drop off shortly after

Saturday 1pm playoff game. When was the last time that happened? It's definitely been over a decade. Probably more.

Can't wait, it's going to be 12 hours of football for two straight days.

Ah, good call out. I think that the last games this early on Saturday were the Bills/Dolphins (wild card round) and Saints/Vikings (divisional round) in the ‘00-‘01 playoffs. Both were 12:30P EST kickoffs.

That is amazing. They went to the 4pm start on Saturday 20 years ago. Obviously that checks out, because the Pats Raiders snow game in January of 2002 was at night.

Also, fun fact. The Beast Quake game, the last time a 7-9 team was in the playoffs, was 10 years ago yesterday. Seattle was a 10 point dog, at home, against NO. And then the quake threw away NO's chances.

Washington is a 8.5 point dog. Will Tom Brady choke again in a night game because he's an early to bed, early to rise guy? I hope not. I want the football team to get WRECKED.

Tom Brady vs the NFC East is an easy call to be the Sat night game.

My point was that...Brady is the star, but its going to be a 3 TD margin at the half and I suspect many will drop off shortly after
TV mostly cares about the first half though. I read somewhere that the NFL approved TV to sell an additional 2 minutes of commericals during the playoff games too albeit I think most is makegoods.
