This is why Leveon was right, never play on the tag unless maybe you're a QB.
There's something sadly 2020 dystopian about a guy getting off his 4th(?) substance abuse suspension and going straight to the Fields of Covid.Josh Gordon reinstated
Still rooting for him, and as a big Russ fan glad to see Seattle “adding” JG instead of Antonio for the playoff run. I think he’s more cooked than not, but it wouldn’t shock me if he had a little left in the tank. I’m picturing Moss on the 9ers but a little better, which would not be insignificant.Josh Gordon reinstated
I think it's cold like "stone cold killer."Great tweet... really funny comment about Brady though... "...2 Super Bowl rings and a chance to play with the coldest QB ever to play the game in TB!"
What do we suppose that means?

Woof, had to do it, but Wentz has a $128M contract that hasn't even started yet. That's definitely the worst contract in the leagueView: https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1336378779426566144

He's 27, has shown some sustained flashes of elite talent.Woof, had to do it, but Wentz has a $128M contract that hasn't even started yet. That's definitely the worst contract in the league
Fact is, Philly cannot ask for much if they try to trade Wentz. So a team could get him for a song, albeit an expensive song. He's 27, has shown some sustained flashes of elite talent.
There's not a fit, right? With Philly subsidizing a large portion of the contract? It's a stupid idea....right?
I think Philly needs to give something up to get off the moneyFact is, Philly cannot ask for much if they try to trade Wentz. So a team could get him for a song, albeit an expensive song.
Yeah a $25M a year song, that's a pretty big gamble to take for a teamFact is, Philly cannot ask for much if they try to trade Wentz. So a team could get him for a song, albeit an expensive song.
Mauf and I were going over this in the game thread and I am not a salary cap aficionado but it looked to me like they don't take a cap hit if they trade Wentz before June (they get like a cap increase of 800l) but if they cut him, they take an approximately 58 trillion dollar cap hit.I think Philly needs to give something up to get off the money
Is it? Jimmy G makes almost 28 million a year. Wentz is talented, it's just that Philly is a mess and he needs a fresh start. I don't think it's an insane gamble for a team that doesn't have a QB.Yeah a $25M a year song, that's a pretty big gamble to take for a team
But the new team would have to pay Wentz, right? They might need something to do that.Mauf and I were going over this in the game thread and I am not a salary cap aficionado but it looked to me like they don't take a cap hit if they trade Wentz before June (they get like a cap increase of 800l) but if they cut him, they take an approximately 58 trillion dollar cap hit.
But I could just as easily be reading it wrong. The salary cap baffles me.
Not exactly trillion dollar, but it is an unreasonably high cut cost for this offseason of $59M, putting them over $80M over the cap. Trading him would result in some cap savings, but they'd still be likely to have to cut some really important players. I mean, Jimmy G has a lot less guaranteed money left, and I don't think, guys who are going to get cut because their contract is untenable is the comparison you make when trading for a guy.Is it? Wentz is much better than Jimmy G, in my opinion. He is surrounded by absolute garbage and has a horrendous coaching staff, too. One that cannot overcome any injuries. I think teams will go for Wentz.I mean, Jimmy G has a lot less guaranteed money left, and I don't think, guys who are going to get cut because their contract is untenable is the comparison you make when trading for a guy.
probably, though it's honestly in the Eagles' best interest to just keep him on the bench for a year, then he's what 3 years from being good with a long injury history and not that much sustained successWentz is much better than Jimmy G, in my opinion. Put Wentz on the Niners, and they probably win the super bowl last year.
Economically he's got 2021 guaranteed salary that's worth offloading if they can find a taker. It'll be tough to fit the dead money in the 2021 cap, but their 2021 cap is gonna be a mess no matter what.probably, though it's honestly in the Eagles' best interest to just keep him on the bench for a year, then he's what 3 years from being good with a long injury history and not that much sustained success
To be fair the pizza there is really amazing.https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/raiders/altercation-over-secret-pizza-location-led-to-nfl-players-arrest-2211150/
You'll be shocked to hear this, but Vontaze Buflict was arrested in Vegas trying to find "Secret Pizza".
Really interesting. I think he'll get a Futures contract someplace. I'm not an expert, but I always thought his problems as a Patriot came from inexperience, and I wonder if he could have a Chung-like resurgence.Didn't know where to put this, but it involves a former Patriot who was discussed a lot for a time:

WSJa large amount of the remaining commercial time available in games is being given to marketers as compensation for the underperformance so far, leaving little ad time that can be sold in the final quarter of the season. Such so-called make-good commercials are given if a network underdelivers on the audience it promised an advertiser.
NFL games provide TV’s most in-demand and expensive ad inventory, because they regularly gather the largest live audiences at a time of increasing audience fragmentation.
But this year, NFL ratings have taken a hit as pandemic-related postponements have pushed some games to less desirable times and the coronavirus has sidelined some star players. Unexpected competition from other sports leagues whose seasons were delayed from earlier in the year also has taken a toll on ratings.
The article makes it sound like the other sports leagues are doing worse. Still it's a real bad time to have declining ratings.Obviously there’s a lot of legitimate suffering as well but there’s something poetic about the pandemic forcing oil companies and the NFL to beg people to buy their product.
He did what?“@RapSheet: #Lions potential Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow, who did not practice today, suffered a fractured throat in the first quarter Sunday and finished the game somehow, source said. He’s played the most snaps at center in the NFL this season… but could miss this week.”
That really sucks - was rooting for him to make it back. Hard to imagine he gets another shot in the NFL at this point. By all accounts, a good dude with a terrible disease.
I think the only reason that it is a story is that shortly thereafter he got fabulously de-cleated. Had that not happened, it would have remained a TikTok thing only.Is there a bigger non-story than JuJu dancing on the team's logo? Talk about a story for lizard-brained neanderthals.
