They need to be 100% better about finishing plays in their own zone. Too many times the puck is securely on a Bruins' stick in the defensive end only to end up in the wrong hands due to weak clearances, lazy and/or blind passing, or just not being strong on the puck.

Of course it only starts there; the forwards need to be loads better on the offensive end as well—just not doing enough to create advantageous situations in the offensive end.
The 30+ foot area above their own circles and before the blue line has seen some simply atrocious play. They get very indeliberate here, tragically so.

It is starting to feel like they are cooked. They are the weaker team right now in just about every element of the game and it does not help at all that Vasilevskiy has played well.

I expected him to play well. But this is the 1st series in a while where it was also likely that the other goalie would outplay the bruins' goalie without standing on his head.

Hearing Wagner had a pretty scary cardiac issue during the game yesterday...couldnt get his heart rate down in the second period. Ended up in the ER in Toronto. They were finally able to regulate it with meds, but he is headed home.

Oh man glad they were able to get it under control.

Well that's terrifying. I had an A Fib scare a few years back and wound up going to the ER around 2 in the morning, that shit will scare your ass right quick. Glad he seems to be okay.

That’s terrifying, and there’s no way he should keep playing.
That is crazy and I glad he seems to be okay. He most likely should not be play. @Lupe Whalewatch do you have an article? I did a bunch of googling and haven't found confirmation article (not that I doubt you just as medical wish to read more info).

But ultimately depends on the real arrhythmia and what is needed to control the problem. If he needs a blood thinner, he is likely done. If this was a run of SVT not afib, he may return.

**Other question - what happened to Blidh? He had some NHL time last year and seemed okay.

Doubt there will be any article out there until after the playoffs. This is more of an inside story. I will say that they thought it was SVT but when he got to the hospital he was in Afib. I have more detail, but should probably keep it out of a public forum.... If any of the moderators want to back it up with me, thats more than fine.

Nope, your track record speaks for itself. We (I) appreciate the 'inside baseball info" but definitely do not want to violate any trust (or HIPAA) issues. I am just glad Wagner is okay ultimately. My medical curiosity pales compared to a player's health and privacy.

Anyone else weirded out by how much injury info gets released about athletes in general? I seriously think hockey should retain the "unfit to play" blanket after this season.
