Good lord. They kill off 90% of the penalty and then that crap?

Goal 1: Defense killed Halak
Goal 2: Whiff by Halak - that's on him
Goal 3: Total crap bounce

Freak goal. It counts.

They’ve played 40 minutes and Ritchie spent 7 of them in the box.

Bruins inability to score 5x5 killed them.

That’s what I was getting at.
this is my biggest problem with the Bruins and how they're currently constructed they're not willing to play the game the NHL is making everybody play in order to be competitive. The coach won't rip the refs The president won't rip the refs they won't roll around pretending to be hurt so the officiating is always always against them when it gets to the playoffs

Seriously the only drama left is if they’ll actually call it even enough on Monday night to have a game on Wednesday. This is literally playing out exactly like the series two years ago.
Damn, I had totally forgotten about that travesty of a series given last year’s even more high-profile travesty.

Pretty weak effort by Pasta at the end there. 15 seconds left he just fired a soft snap shot into traffic thats easily blocked and cleared.

I can’t wait to see all the posts about how they didn’t “show up”.
Quite frankly, they've been bad the entire time in the bubble. They've had some moments but for the most part they've been stuck in the mud. They can't score and they can't keep the puck out of their own net.

Yup. In all phases of the game. Tampa has been the better team, even without Stamkos and McDonough.
Looking long term this is the most striking point. They got breaks last year with Tampa and Washington getting knocked out early. In reality they’re a good 2nd round playoff team that’s a long way away from a cup. They need to start making some changes.

The Lightning, Bucs and Rays. Great time to be a Tampa sports fan.
For real. Last year the Bruins got a huge break with Tampa getting knocked out. They came one game away from finishing the job, but didn't, and really should rue missing that opportunity.

It’s like any other league. You’re in the cool kids club or you’re not. And as long as Marchand is on the roster they will always get the short end of the officiating. That really pissed people off at the league office and with the refs.

With $15 million in cap space they have decisions on Krug and Chara plus bridge deals for Grz and DeBrusk. I’m not sure what big changes they can make. I think Studnicka on the 3rd or 4th line would help offensively. Need the same thing as last year: a physical top 6 winger
